Creativity
I have learned lots of things while I cooked. I collaborated with other people such as mom, who helped me gather the ingredients, and I had a fun time researching how to bake cookies and found out I liked to cook and bake. I have also shared the cookies with my family and thought of the ways to improve them. I have tried to bake again during the break, improving the taste and the solidness of the cookie. I also have bought different cookie cutter other than simple shapes, giving different shapes of the cookie. I also designed it with chocolate syrup, making the design of the cookie to be more attractive. I used creativity to design the cookie, and make different taste of the cookies. This gave a significant change to my skills of creativity and baking.
Critical Thinking
I found logical fallacies and making a disturbing goal in the section. I searched a lot handling this section, also using my background knowledge. This made me to think about my own life, and I got a habit of looking at ads and see what kind of fallacy they used. This section helped me a lot to enhance my searching and thinking skills, especially finding logical fallacy using grammarly. The disturbing goal making was very hard because making the goal is not for disturbance but for reaching a certain mission that pushes me towards my life. The article helped me a lot to reflect my life and know what disturbing goal could work as.
Communication
Working on making fitness routine made me to organize every steps of yoga and this helped me to enhance my communication skills and organization skills. Even though it took a long time, the routine was well analyzed of how to do it and properly. I even tried to follow the routine I made and this made me tired but the position that was not hard controlled my heart rate and tiredness. Beforehand, my skills of communicating was very unstable as I was always nervous being in front of people or with people having group work. But this section helped me to be less nervous than before and my presentation skills had enhanced. This skill is used very often but people who is introverted needs much courage to talk to people who they do not know, which is me. I was very quiet and anxious all the time to speak and this helped me to be kind of extroverted and not so scared to talk to people. I learned that to enhance any skill I must start from something small and than to big.
Resilience
I enjoyed this section, as I did random act of kindness and practicing a new skill was hard but fun. Because I had a pet in my house, the random act of kindness was very often done. In order to raise an animal responsibility and kindness is needed, so this was easy. Practicing a new skill, typing skill, which was what I was bad at before, and my typing was always slow. As I slowly pushed myself with a testing website, My skills became better and better, and now mastering it. This section helped me to learn the way to do a certain thing, and it helped me so much in my daily life. Typing skills made my time of doing homework to decrease and note take in class faster than ever. The random act of kindness reminded me the importance of being kind every time and someday you’ll get it back. (My cat sat on my lap for that for a long time.)
Collaboration
Collaboration was hard but also fun. Communicating skills were needed too. The cooperation between my partner helped to finish the task easier and faster. We divided the job while doing it and also organized out time management while doing it. Sometime there was an error between communication and some times we fought as the conflict of the difference of our thoughts. But later we always said sorry to each other. This section also used critical thinking and creativity while accomplishing tasks. The collaboration wasn’t easy after all if it wasn’t for my close friend. I learned that cooperating with friends needs communication and leadership, responsibility and strong friendship. Or else, it would be very hard to do it together.
Task 2- 30 points

Appeal to emotion fallacy
This ad attracts people from the short question like sentence, and showing how their product is good. By using the fallacy, it gives the audience a big impact of empathy of the meaning “went big by thinking small” this shows a different view to succeed like the Volkswagen did and follow the same way.

Bandwagon fallacy
Old Spice commercials frequently feature over-the-top scenarios that suggest that using the product will make you more attractive and desirable, using famous people and show he is also using it too. This bandwagon approach suggests that you should buy the product simply because “he is doing it, and he is trusted”

Appeal to authority
This appeals to the audience of this ad which is anyone who follows Donald Trump and sees him as an inspirational public figure. This has the message that Trump likes the steaks, that must mean they are good

False Dilemma
This ad presents dieting as a binary choice either you choose their program or you continue to struggle with weight loss . This oversimplifies the nature of dieting and health, ignoring other potential solutions and approaches.

Appeal to emotion
This ads feature rugged imagery of cowboys and the open range, appealing to a sense of freedom . This emotional appeal can overshadow the health risks associated with smoking, leading viewers to associate the product with an idealized lifestyle rather than its dangers.
Task 9- 60 points
Task 12- 15 points
The article “willing to be disturbed” made me to reflect on my life of whether the disturbance had also happened to me, and if I was willed to be, and I also thought of that people are to be disturbed but they won’t know until they understand what their disturbance is. Just like the sign “do not disturb”, we want to not be disturbed, but we can not not be disturbed after all. Our life flows and continues with disturbance from challenges and obstacles, but it is our job to overcome it. So whether we are ready or not ready to be disturbed, it comes to us, unwillingly
It is very challenging to understand the word “disturbance” since it has a lot of meaning to it. some could think “disturbance” could mean as a interruption, some could think as an obstacle. The word cannot be fixed with one meaning, but to be meant to everyone, who interprets it and believes in it
My goal for the year is to challenge myself to the will of disturbance, in school and at home.
Task 13-30points

The list of words I’ll use:
I
want
to
go
hi
bye
no
yes
maybe
thank
you
here
there
what
why
who
how
when
am
Victoria
I have chosen these 20 words as some of them are the most frequently used words and there is some words that are important to socialize, and word which is my name, I should be able to tell my name, so I also put “am” and “I” and other words for shortening, for example, “who did it?” to “who?” and “how did it happen” to “how?”, so I thought of those words to be used greatly as I go to school or when I am at home. These could be limited when it comes to details, but I am at least able to have a chat with someone.
Task 1- 60 points

I learned to type faster in both korean and english using the website of typing test
Jan 1- 83 words/min 98% accuracy
Jan 2- 85 words/min 95%accuracy
Jan 3- 87 words/min 97% accuracy
Jan 4- 90words/min 99%accuracy
Jan 5- 91 words/min 98% accuracy
I learned skills to type fast, such as using two hand proficiently and high accuracy, however there is human limit when typing fast such as the fingers beside the pinky is conjoined together to move together, not able to move individually, so I found this interesting to overcome. I overcame this challenge by reducing the use of those fingers as those fingers make the accuracy to decrease

I gave these cookie to my whole family as a self baking, and they gave me ome helpful feedbacks as they ate, and maybe I could improve later.
The process of baking was not that hard but needed some help gathering ingredients as I baked. It was fun and exciting for me
Task number 12 – 30 points

I have given food and water for every day to my cats, called happiness and luck, and I polished their nails once a month, wash them once a week, giving a helping hand to my father who was in lead washing and polishing.
These actions made me happy seeing them grow healthy and clean, with my own care and love. I was also proud to help father and he also appreciated me

Commitment Card:I will to achieve my goal by challenging myself to paraphrase and summarize what AI says and not copy, use it to ask questions to make me understand
Clarification Card: I would say that I achieved the goal by showing the proof in my recorded application, and how I challenged myself.
