Active Learner Habits
One strength I bring to math class is my organizational skills, with organizing my homework and notes I take in class. Another skill is that I am able to collaborate with my table-mates. Even when I think that my answer is wrong, I still express my answer in class. A third strength I bring is my listening skills, like when my table-mates say this answer, I note it down, and I respect what they say.
Area of Growth
One habit I want to improve this semester is having neater notes in class. This is an area of growth for me because if I have neater notes it would be easier for me to go back and look at my notes when I am studying.
Plan for Growth
I will work on this habit by writing or organizing my notes into Cornell Notes. Which would impact me to have neater and easier notes to read. One specific action I will take is finding a method to take notes for my learning or studying.
Math Notation and Communication
- Take at least one photo of an early math notebook example.

In my later math notebook, my use of color increased, and I think it became neater. Also, at first, my earlier notebook was messy, but I could still understand. This new page of the notebook was much more cleaner, since I used different type of colors in it.
Evidence of Understanding of Key Concepts
Choose two examples of your math learning that highlight your strengths and growth.

This example shows that I understand since my work presents my thoughts and step it took for me to solve my problem. One strength in this work is the simple, but including all the criteria’s pictures that I drafted. This work also shows my growth in improvement, since I think I think if I spent more time drafting my final product would be better and I think it would have more detail.
