AI Cards🙃

clarification cards: what would you be able to do or explain to others if you’ve reached your AI-related goal?

I would be able to tell them about how to use AI to help and you and prevent yourself to copy from AI directly at the same time.

commitment card: i will to achieve my goal by asking AI ideas about the topic but not just to get it to directly generate the ideas i need to know.

Goal: i want to use AI for inspiration and help, but add my own ideas an style to make my work unique

Summary

When working in a team, if you have some ideas that other teammates don’t agree with, you should try communicating with them until you have an idea that all of you agree with. You should seek to compromise when working with teams.

reflection

Through this experience, i was able to learn about the different forms of plagiarism therefore teaching me what not to do in school that could violate the school rules. we also talked about MLA citations that is a big part of our grades while writing english essays which is also linked with plagiarism to make sure that we do not directly copy off of sources on different websites.

ma vie incroyable au lycée🙃

Before i was an actual freshman, high school seems really far away, even when i was in 8th grade, it still seems like a pretty long time until high school. 8th grade has been a very relaxing grade where it seems like the last year of your school life that you can actually have time have fun, socialize, join clubs, and finish all your assignments at the same time. Overall, 8th grade has been a very enjoyable year where we get to gain more experiences through school activities to better prepare us for high school.

In most of our impressions, 9th grade will probably be the start of the time when most people start attending all sorts of competitions and clubs to have a better resume. A time where we stop having as much free time like we use to have and start using this time for homework and classes in order to be better than everyone else, but, 9th grade is much more than just learning. 9th grade is a time where we join clubs we enjoy and meet new people, it is a time for us to experience different subjects by taking various courses, it is a time where we actually start considering for our future.

The first 13 years of our life may be clam and relaxing, but starting from now on, we should be more thoughtful of our words and our actions that we do everyday because all of it could affect our future and we have to learn to spend our time wisely and not waste it on useless activities.

Welcome to Your New Portfolio!

Why have a digital portfolio at SAS?

Creating a portfolio, or blog is a great way to collect all the work you’ve done throughout your academic career. You can include academic, athletic, and personal artifacts or experiences that you want to share with a wider audience. This is a great way to organize all your learning in one place and you can take it with you when you leave SAS.  When you make your portfolio, you create posts that are categorized according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you, but if you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category. Think of this as the first opportunity to engage and hook your reader!
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This should include a combination of text and media in the form of images, graphics, and embedded videos. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging and organized? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
  • Tags – create tags that can be used as keywords to describe your post. Tags help organize your post a little more! Aim to have 3-5 tags for each post. For example, if you are posting about a novel you wrote, you might want the following tags: #Fiction, #MurderMystery, #Theme, #PlotDiagram
