TTG Reflection👍🏿😁

Creative Learner:

Throughout my journey, I have effectively applied my creative skills in real-life situations, especially through various tasks aimed at enhancing creativity. These experiences have allowed me to gain new perspectives and approach challenges in innovative ways, highlighting the significant role creativity plays in our everyday lives. At first, I thought that most people had a basic understanding of creativity. However, I soon discovered that while many acknowledge its importance, few truly understand the depth of this skill. Although I am still working towards mastering creativity, I believe I have made considerable progress. This journey has not only improved my creative abilities but has also contributed to my personal growth and soft skills, making me a more adaptable person. For example, while creating my travel brochure, I learned what it means to be a creative learner. This project encouraged me to think outside the box and tackle problems in new ways. In conclusion, embracing the creative learner skill has been a transformative experience, providing me with valuable tools that I will continue to develop as I encounter future challenges. I am excited to further enhance this skill and apply it in different areas of my life.

Effective collaborator:

Throughout this task, I have gained valuable insights and made meaningful progress in becoming a better collaborator. The process has taught me the importance of effective communication, active listening, and working cohesively with others to achieve shared goals. These skills are essential not only for teamwork but also for personal growth and development. Engaging in this activity has reinforced my belief in the value of collaboration and the positive impact it can have on both individual and group outcomes. I found the task to be both enjoyable and stimulating, as it provided an opportunity to connect with others, exchange ideas, and learn from different perspectives. It was a reminder of how teamwork can be both challenging and rewarding, pushing us to step out of our comfort zones while fostering creativity and innovation.  Reflecting on this experience, I feel more confident in my ability to contribute to and thrive in collaborative settings. These newfound skills will undoubtedly help me well in future, helping me grow not just as a team member, but as a person. Overall, this task was a fulfilling experience that highlighted the importance of collaboration in personal and professional development.

Critical Thinking:

This task focused on how I could interpret the challenges presented to me and how effectively I could solve them. The problems were quite vague, giving us a lot of freedom in how we approached our solutions. For example, we were given a set of items and asked to rescue a cat stuck in a tree. I decided to stack the objects to safely reach the cat, while my peers came up with different ideas. Some wanted to throw things at the cat to scare it down, while others suggested calling an ambulance to handle it for us. This activity helped me realize that even with the same instructions and goals, everyone has a unique perspective on what seems obvious. It showed me that people can think in vastly different ways, leading to a variety of solutions. This diversity of thought was eye-opening, as it highlighted how creativity can flourish in seemingly straightforward situations. In conclusion, the task taught me that despite having the same objectives and constraints, we all approach problems differently. This experience emphasized the importance of collaboration and understanding different viewpoints, as they can lead to innovative and effective solutions.

Resilience:

These tasks were different from the other Team Training Games (TTGs) because they focused on both mental and physical aspects. For example, we engaged in activities like mindful eating and mindful walking. Mindful eating encouraged us to pay closer attention to our food, helping us appreciate what we consume and understand our body’s signals better. Meanwhile, mindful walking allowed us to be present in the moment, focusing on our surroundings and the sensations of movement. These experiences were valuable as they highlighted the connection between body and mind. I discovered that being aware of how I eat and move can impact my overall well-being. Mindful eating prompted me to consider healthier choices, while mindful walking provided a way to relieve stress and enhance my mood. In general, these tasks emphasized the importance of self-care and offered strategies for recovery from various challenges. By linking physical activities with mindfulness, I found new ways to recharge and maintain balance. This broader approach to well-being was refreshing and has inspired me to incorporate similar practices into my daily life.

Skillful Communicator:

The task focused on how well we could communicate with others in a challenging situation. In my case, I participated in a murder mystery game with two other people, where we had to solve the mystery using sheets of paper. The catch was that we couldn’t talk to anyone during the entire process. This unique challenge taught me a lot about non-verbal communication and how to convey ideas without using words. As we worked together to piece together the clues, I learned to read body language and facial expressions more carefully. We had to rely on gestures and visual cues to share our thoughts and thoughts about the mystery. This experience highlighted the importance of understanding others and being aware of how we communicate without speaking. In conclusion, this task improved my communication skills and helped me appreciate the different ways we can connect with others. It showed me that even when words are not an option, there are many ways to share ideas and work as a team. I left the activity with a greater understanding of the value of clear communication, both verbal and non-verbal, in solving problems together.
