In badminton, I learned how to hit the shuttle high and far to the back of the court, and I’m getting better at serving. I also learned to always be ready on my feet. What I need to work on is hitting the shuttle harder when I want to smash, and I need to move faster to get to the shuttle when it’s not right near me.

This is an area of growth for me because I don’t really participate in any discussions which means I miss out on a lot of different ideas. Even when I have a good idea, I don’t share it.

My math work has improved because I learned how to show my work, for example in the volume practice, I showed each step, used the correct formulas, and demonstrated the entire process.

This example shows that I understand how to correctly use transformations to create the sticker. This work shows growth because I can distinguish between translation, rotation, reflection, and enlargement.

Me and my partner did a project analyzing the relationship between Ron and Hermione in Harry Potter. I learned that in their relationship, they need to talk things out, and reduce the amount of silent treatment, and they should also set boundaries to prevent the relationship to have big conflict.
Something I learned in this unit is that you shouldn’t be judging other people on their gender, and prevent gender stereotypes. I also learned about how to set boundaries to prevent the relationship from big conflicts. I learned about how to effectively manage a conflict and also learned about how to give a consent.







I picked this artifact because it best reflects my performance. This artifact proves that the number of times spoken is average, which shows I can actively participate in the socratic seminar, while leaving space for other people to speak. However, I need to work on the time I’m speaking, it is slightly lower than the average. Which proves I need to engage more and elaborate more in the conversation.
In this unit, we learned how to float in the water, introduction to water polo. How to dribble the ball, pass the ball in the water.
PEIn this unit, we learned about how to dribble the ball, how to pass the ball, and the different positions in a game, transitioning from offense to defense.
I used to think mental health is not a really big issue to care about, it is just someone feeling depressed and sad for a long time.
But now I think mental health is a really important issue that everyone should care about, and should accept help from other people. I also learned that there’s different types of mental health issue, such as addiction, PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD and eating disorders. These issues can cause severe harm to our body, which is a really important issue for us to care about.
I also learned that a lot of mental health issue are stigmatized. For example, a lot people might think that eating disorder only happens on female, but a lot of male also have that issue. A lot of people might also think that depression is just person sitting on the floor, and covering their face because they are feeling depressed. However, depression can lead to suicidal thoughts, poor appetite, which is going to cause severe damage to a person’s body. which is.not good
I chose question number 8 as my best work because I did the exceeding question correctly, and can use multiple rigid transformations and dilation that map figure EFGH to figure ABCD.
I chose question number 7 as my best work because I can correctly identify if a shape is congruent or not, and can use rigid transformation to see if they matches.
Throughout this unit, I improved the most of using multiple transformation to move a shape.
I feel that I still need to work on checking my answer before submitting my test, because I made a lot of minor mistakes that I should get them correct.

In the next unit, I want to be more engaged in class discussions or group discussions. This is important because I get to practice my public speaking skills, and can also share with other people and learn from other people.
Something that might get in the way of this goal is talking to someone I don’t know, and be not really confident with my own answer.
Something I can do if I get stuck, is to ask teacher for help, or people around me, if my answer is correct.
Something I am proud of is I can identify parts of speech, shades of meaning and different sentence structure. I can also explain all of them, for example what is a verb, what is complex sentence made of, and what shades of meaning is.
Something I need to work on is to explain why is using too many complex sentence bad, or whey do we want to use these different sentence structures.
