Throughout these two semesters I really appreciate the teacher’s help in all the units and all my artwork. They really have me a lot of support in this year, whether I needed help in my artwork or I was confused about something. I really felt my growth throughout this year of art. Before, I was only really intrested in painting but now, I’ve experienced more art and cultures.

My favorite lessons, moments, activities, days of the year were the red vs gold challenges, world classroom, and because these activities helped me understand the importance of teamwork and how to collaborate and communicate effectively with teammates and friends to pursue a common goal

This artifact reflects upon my presentation skills. Me and my group had worked a long time on this and planned each slide extremely carefully and even added some creative things in it like brining snacks in for people to eat. The hard work we spent on the presentation paid off and we got exceeding
This artifact shows my improvement in Chinese writing throughout the two semesters. I originally didn’t take any Chinese classes and wasn’t good at Chinese writing at all. However, throughout the support of my teacher, I have improved significantly in the writing aspect.
This screenshot shows the group clay artwork we did in art. Because we were in a group of 4 doing a clay project, we experienced many challenges along the way and our project cracked and failed many times. Despite this, we managed to collaborate well and complete the process and the clay artwork.
This screenshot shows my collaboration with my peers during big group projects. In the first semester of Language Arts, we worked on a big group project in a group of 4 people. We had to create a talk show, write a story together, and present it. we were able to work through the challenges that came with this and succeed.
This artifact shows my grade in swimming. I usually don’t swim and don’t really enjoy swimming but I’m really proud of my grade for last semester.
This artifact shows my grade in volleyball which shows that I participated well in volleyball and therefore got a good grade
Getting better grades: I’ve been working on getting better scores and grades overall in all subjects and cores. I can see some improvement in grades in some cores, but I will also continue to work harder to get satisfactory grades in all classes.
Having a better study/learning habit: I have a better organization system and habit both on my computer and physically to help me plan out my day to day activities and the work I need to complete each day. This helps me prioritize my homework and extra homework and also helps my efficiency.
Improving on sports (volleyball): As you know, I have recently started playing volleyball at CFT and now have a very strong passion for it. I am really happy about my progress made in volleyball. I started at a beginner level, with little knowledge about how the game works, and now at a intermediate/advanced level in just 2 months. I think that the progress I’ve made in volleyball is extremely significant and I want to continue and play at a higher level soon
This artifact shows my homework completion in math class. As you can see, I’ve done every single homework assignment and always turned it in on time. This is evidence that I am a active learner in math class.
