Design Tech – Clock Reflection

We have to make a specific clock for our client in this unit. My client is Ms. Neil, who is the 8th grade Red Science Teacher. She required a Earth clock with a random wavy shape. I made my clock with the random wavy shape with the Earth on it, and she liked it. I used linoleum for the green and blue part, wooden back, and the number is wooden too.

I am proud of that I finished my clock on time with a OK quality, and my client liked it. Also, I assembled it pretty quickly with glue and stuff with in about one and a half class.

My weakness is my process journal, I didn’t finish my process journal on time and Mr. Hatt said it is not specific enough.

If I could do it again, with the experiences I have this time, I believe that I can make a better looking clock and finish my process journal in time without getting an approaching.

Math Unit 2 Reflection

In this unit, we did scale factor as the main part, and we also extended into proportional relation ships, geometry, and identifying which one is proportional and which one is not. We also need to calculate the length of the missing sides with information.
