I think the most important safety behaviour is like if you see weird stuff happening like adult stuff you should tell someone you trust.
My five trusted people if something is not right is my mom, my dad, 112 if it is really strange, a teacher, and my 5 best friends.
Social media impacts teens by like what you see in the videos and like teens would want to be like that person and want to change. But it could hurt that teen really badly and they could go to the hospital.
One strategies is like telling a adult, Another strategie is logging of the thing that your playing, Finally I would tell someone that I trust if my parents are not around and I can’t reach them.
What I learned the most is that there could be like weird things and to be careful online.

What did I do?
I learned about Dystopian Fiction by writing academic paragraphs related to the text.
What did I learn?
Building Vocabulary, Using Transition words, writing academic paragraphs and Academic Discussions.
What Worked?
What worked is building my vocabulary I learned a lot of new words. Another thing that worked is using transition words in my paragraphs on commonlit. Finally something that worked us Academic Discussions I think I did good and participated in the Discussions really well.
What did not work?
What did not work is my academic paragraphs, I think I could of added more example and make the academic paragraphs longer next time.
Personal Relevance
In the future I think the things I learned from this unit would help me with if I do it again because I have experience from this.
What did we do?
We started by completing an investigation to determine the relationship between potential energy ang height. We also did a lab report and built a model. Than we took data and finally we wrote a conclusion with a CER.
What I learned?
I learned to dribble, kick, pass, and the positions of the players on the field.
What went well?
What went well is that I listen to the teacher and did all the things that we learned really well.
What did not go well?
I don’t think anything did not go good. I think I need to keep improving my skills.

What did we do?
We did a bake sale where we had to calculate percentage, mark up price, and etc. After we had a bake sale and sold cookies.
What did we learn?
We learned how to use rates, equal rates, comparing rates. We also learned divisible by 2,3,5,6, and 10. This helped us with finding out the mark up price for the bake sale.
What worked?
I am proud of the bake sale and all the work we had to do. Like the math and the canva. I am really proud of how it turned out like the food we mad also how much money we made.
What did not worked?
I don’t think anything did not worked. I think it all went great and i am proud of the bake sale. I think this unit went really good, and I would like to do something or other project like this in the future.
Personal Relevance
This could help you in the future if you like want to sell something like food or art work. For the food if you having a bake sell it shows how much food you have to make and then later you have to calculate the money also in USA you have taxes too. The 6th grade bake sale would help u shave a little experience with doing it.
What did I work on?
During this unit I worked on finding knowledge about Otzi the 5300-year-old Ice man. We also worked on first finding out about what an Archaeologist is. An Archaeologist is someone who understands and finds out how people used to live before we were alive. They use things if they find someone persevering like Otzi or studying objects that they find. We also learned what Fossils, Artifacts, and what Archaeology are. We put all this information in our social Study notebook. Another thing we did like I said before is we learned about Otzi and did a mock trial about him to fight over if Otzi was murdered or not Murdered. We got different roles, and I was a lawyer. So, I made an opening and closed question to ask a expert witness. Which would help me and my team win the case by pressuring the expert witness. I was a lawyer one, so I had more closing questions than opening. I also had to research how Otzi was not murdered.
What did I learn?
I learned why we should care about the past. To learn that, like I said before, we learned about a 5300-year-old mummy. This taught me that learning about the past is really important. It teaches how people used to live and compares it to how we live more. Also, we should care about the past because our ancestors used to live back then and how a copper axe used cost over 100 million dollars. Because it was during the copper age where copper axes were very rare. Otzi taught us a lot about why we should care about the past.
What worked well?
Something that went well is when I was making opening and closed question for the mock trial for Otzi death. Because I listened well and knew what to do. Also, it was easier for me than other things we had to do. I also made a really good opening and closed question.
What did not work?
During the mock trial I think our opening statement I could have written better. Because I didnât really get it and I didnât know that we had to write evidence than this shows how … Also, one of the things said âSo he was not killed by the cold weather. It did not make sense because we were the defense so that was one of our reasons of how Otzi was not murdered but we said that did not kill him. So, I think I could have made it stronger and longer than what I said/did during the mock trial. Also, next time I can make better reasoning of why both things killed him and not losing one of our topics to help my team win.
Personal Relevance
My collaboration and commotion skills would help me improve in the next time I have to talk Infront of people. It would help me with speaking better and being more convincing when making a big speech. It would also help me when with stage fright so I can talk Infront of more people than a small amount of people. Finally, it can help me with listening to people for a long time. Because when we were jury, we had to sit there and listen to both sides fight over whether Otzi was murdered or not. Also, in the future if I get jury duty, I already have experience of being a jury member.

(There is another part to it but we had to through it away because it had egg yoke on it.)
What did we do?
We learn to build a car to protect an egg from cracking, the material that we had was 3 pieces of paper,1 straw 4 weels, 2 axes, and 1 meter of tape.
What did I learn?
Newtonâs 1st law says an object at rest tends to stay in rest, and an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. We see this law when the car stops but the egg wants to keep moving because it is still in motion.
Newtonâs 3rd law says every action has an equal, opposite reaction. We see this law when the car hits the stone and the reaction is the egg wanting to keep moving. ( Also the car coming to a stop and pushing backwards)
What worked?
What worked in our design was how we added a seat belt and other things to keep the egg from flying out of keep moving forward. Also what worked is that the wheels were really attached to the car so the wheels did not fall off.
What did not work?
I would’ve change the layout of the car and where the egg was staying. Like I would of changed the car to a race car and put the egg tuck inside so it would not break. Sadly it did break.
Personal Relevance
This challenge was like connected to the real world. Like people now are trying to figure out how to make cars safer when the get in crashes. Like the car me and my partner made would kill someone if they were in the car. So it also connects to the real world when there are a lot of crashes and someone dies like what happen to the car.
DT was really fun. We did at lot of thing throughout the 13 weeks we had DT. If I did this Unit again what you see above the text I would make the thing I made smaller or I would make something for myself. If I do it next year, I am excited to see what we do.

What did I do?
We learned to build a Balloon Car and race it. The Balloon Car was built using a balloon, wheels, axles , styrofoam base, and straws. We used it to learn about Newton’s laws, forces, and how to build a car that would go fast.
What did I learn?
Newton’s 1st law says an object at rest tends to stay in rest, and an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. We see this law in action with the balloon car when the air of the balloon comes out and the car starts moving.
Newton’s 2nd law says the more mass an object takes up,the more force is needed to move it. We see this law in action with the balloon car when we add washers to the car, the balloon car needs more air in the balloon=force to move it.
Newton’s 3rd law says every action has an equal, opposite reaction. We see this law in action with the balloon car when the action of the air goes out and the reaction of the car is when the car moves.
What worked?
Working with my partner worked well because we worked well with the balloon car and did not fight,we even got first in the competition. We had to help each other when something happen. Also the connection to Newton’s laws worked well because I memorized all of Newton’s law for the test. I had to take time to memorized Newton’s laws.
What did not work?
It was a struggle when our balloon car the styrofoam part was melting. To solve this problem we got lucky and the hot glue that melted the styrofoam patch it up. I don’t there was any other struggle that I had but that.
Personal Relevance
The Balloon Car was like a real car in the real world, when I had to work to together with my partner. Because in the real world to make cars you need to work to gether with other people. I see Newton’s 3rd law in real life when a car crashes and the reaction is a when the person in the car keeps going but is stop by the airbags sometimes. It is important to know these Laws because it helps anyone to do something like making a car because than you can add things to the car to make it safer.
