Creative Learner:
For the Tasks of creative learner I have decided to create a morning alarm. Creating a morning alarm was an insightful task that deepened my understanding of technology and its impact on daily routines. I began by researching various alarm sounds, recognizing that each tone can evoke different feelings and motivations. For instance, a gentle chime might lead to a calm feeling, while an upbeat melody could energise me. Additionally, I used screams to evoke a sudden sensation. Overall, this task was an helped me find out how small changes can lead to significant improvements in daily life.
Another task I’ve done was the tech bootcamp skits along with 3D printed gift. The skit focuses on understanding about others to acknowledge and understand other’s differences while also learning about their cultural perspective. Working on the SAS goal of being an Ethical Global Citizen. The task were engaging and interesting, it helped me find my creative mindset.

Critical Thinker:
In the tasks for critical thinker, I have chosen the task of Wordplay and How Could…? Draw Obscure Solutions. During the tasks, I often need to think outside the box, viewing things in various perspectives. This habit has fostered me to have a more open-minded approach, allowing me to appreciate opinions. I also recognise the importance of self-reflection; evaluating my biases and thought processes enables me to grow continually. For How Could… I had to think in ways of the different methods of every object, what I can do with pencils and books, etc. And for Wordplay which was to come up with 20 words if they were the only words I could say, I had to consider the daily use, research on what words are common, my way of speaking and all.
Ultimately, being a critical thinker empowers me to navigate the complexities of life with confidence. It equips me with the tools to tackle challenges thoughtfully.
Resilient:
Reflecting on my journey of resilience, I recognize it as a vital skill that has shaped myself and approach to challenges. Resilience is more than just bouncing back from setbacks; it involves adapting to adversity and learning from difficult experiences. I have practiced basketball in shooting and mindfulness walking. Shooting was a struggle as for it needs form and strength, over practice over and over I understand the way for me to have increased accuracy and arch. Along with mindfulness walking to clear my mind, to adapt a good habit and lets me have time to myself to do what I want or be active.
Skilful Communicator: On skilful communicator task I have read to kids which was worth 90 points. When reading to kids it goes beyond simply conveying a story; it involves engaging young listeners and fostering a love for language. As I read aloud, I pay close attention to my tone, pacing, and expression to capture their interest and emotions effectively.
Additionally, I’ve learned the significance of non-verbal communication. Using gestures, facial expressions, and eye contact helps create a more immersive experience. I notice how children respond to these cues, becoming more engaged and eager to participate.

Effective Collaborator: Done Zoom Challenge collectively as a class and Silent murder mystery with Divit and Andy. My role as an effective collaborator during the silent murder mystery and Zoom image challenge has been an interesting experience that demonstrates the importance of teamwork and clear communication. In the murder mystery, we needed to piece together clues without verbal communication, which required us to rely heavily on non-verbal cues and written messages along with little grunts. This unique challenge pushed us to develop a shared understanding and build trust among team members.
Overall, these experiences have deepened my appreciation for collaboration. I now recognize that effective teamwork hinges on understanding, respect, and a willingness to embrace approaches.
“Peter’s Paapas murder mystery”💀
Me, Andy Zhou, Divit, as a group conluded that👹
Mr. Scott killed Mr. Kelly
In the Apartment
At 12:30
To be with Mrs. Kelly
It took us around 30 minutes and it was fun as we all were thinking and silently arguing about the different questions. I would recommend this to a fein.👶🏿

The book I read was The Christmas Magic by Lauren Thompson
The children made me laugh but also sad because I see how I was like at that age with all the books such as Guinness World Records🥲

The Task was to rank 30 Item(even though there were only 28 items) in the order of usefulness. I would recommend this task as it is easy and engaging as I did it with my partner Ethan.

Critical Thinker: Task 13, Wordplay
Make a list of the 20 words
Paragraph:I, Jaelen, water, food, please thank you. Want sleep? Yes. They left right? No. Why? No want. Give Money! Stop, be humble! Right…😳
Fun activity, would suggest people to do. Challenging but interesting.🤔

-Unique Coin by me
Creative learner, learning to create 3D images and structure, new experience was an alright experience. Learned to make models and features of Tinkercad App.
Being a creative learner in the 3D structures because you can create a unique visual. Along with learning new things in making 3D models.🥰
I created a coin and an interesting creature, didn’t take super long. The coin shows a face saying Shh and the creature is just a friendly creature showing welcoming arms.👽

Uses all difference categories in a special way as it was a big group activity therefore it would have a higher chance to incorporate the different categories.
EUA- User agreement that should be done (in SAS terms)
The group I have done the skit in was about understanding cultural differences. The scenario was of a language barrier as for a character in a collaboration believed the others were mean due to language difference, it was on accident and not on a purposeful way due to cultural language differences.🎨
The skit focuses on understanding about others to acknowledge and understand other’s differences while also learning about their cultural perspective. Working on the SAS goal of being an Ethical Global Citizen. 🤓

Creative Learner Task 16: Good Morning
The task is to create an original musical morning alarm tune that’s 1-2 minutes long, I made it to 53 seconds but that’s basically 1 minute so good enough.
That’s the finally piece, taking samples of screams from Kendrick Lamar and Playboi Carti. Using a producing program of Ableton.
I first analysed main components of an alarm 1. Repetitive 2. Annoying
I repeated the same musical bars over and over to get it repetitive. In case it wasn’t loud enough or annoying enough to wake somebody up, I started with a scream and added yells throughout the entire alarm. Having the components together, the wake up alarm was created in around 40-50 minutes, taking around 25 minutes to put the instruments together, 10 minutes downloading and finding screams, and the rest of the time adding and tweaking all the sounds together to make the original alarm piece.
