Social Studies Unit 2: Visual Presentation

The task is to create a model if the transportation and I chose this format is because I really like making models and diorama, and the station I am building is near a place I have been living in in Hong Kong for a month during summer.

I think I did well at trying and I worked for 24 working hours building this model.

I think I could improve by making the scale same, n scale, for best measures, and layer them on top of each other to show the actual layout of the station.

Social Studies Unit 2: Essay

I wrote the essay by collecting a lot of evidence and putting them together. My choice of transportation is MTR, and the problem that MTR have is that there is not a lot of passages about it and it was rather successful since launch.

I think did well at formulating my ideas and writing them out.

I should work more on getting the logic right and I was focusing more on my model.

Cell and Human Body Systems Portfolio Reflection Unit 2

My Essential Question is :What happened inside our body when we get sick?

I learned about how different levels of organizations in the system interact when body gets sick and identifying which part of a cell or body is malfunctioning. Also, with the support of the process of sickness happening inside my body, I can prove that the body is made of multiple subsystems.

Stations learning, Independent research project, Modeling Activities, and review games was the most impactful to me when studying. During the body system project, Models Activities and Independent Research Project worked really well for me.

I would make my model easier to understand and write my CER more elaborative. Also, I may have too much labels and I didn’t explain the functions good enough.

Art Unit 4 Artivist Project

The Title is: We Belong On Earth

My intended audience is people in Shanghai and the message is that we should stop the conflict between china and Japan; we are on the same planet. Another message I want to convey is that we. should embrace nature rather than destroying or being careless about it.

I used symbolisms, for example, the shape of china and Japan and the colors of the flags represents what we are trying to let you understand. Also, the oriental tower represents shanghai, showing the target audience, and the plants represents nature. Also, I used contrast between the colors pink and green, red and white.

Math Unit 2 Reflection

I understand about proportional relationship between multiple dimensioned values. I learned about the scale factor formula in a formal way rather than just getting the “spirit”. What was interesting about this unit is that the scale factor can be applied to any type of value. What was tricky for me is for example, the scale factor is 1/26 and it is hard to get the value on it.

G7 Soccer Unit Reflection

In my soccer unit, I learned to dribble, pass, shoot and we get to play small 5v5 games to improve our tactics and footwork.

In the future, I will work more on footwork rather than straight-forward anger and work more on cooperation.

Art: Self-Expression and Persistence

Both my pieces of artwork represent myself in a certain way. For my clay project, I created tools that I could use, such as a color palette, a nipper holder, and a brush setter, which I will be using in the future. For my name, I incorporated travel, represented as a suitcase, goggles for swimming, pokemon ball, for my love for pokemon, and a Zaku II 06S head, for my current obsession.

I demonstrated persistent by trying again after my nipper holder wouldn’t be able to hold up it self and restarting when I ran out of space writing my name.

Social Studies Unit 1: Media Presentation

One of the pieces in the feedback suggested that I should incorporate more words to furthermore prove my view against one side, unlike normal comic covers because I only have a cover, but no story. Another feedback says that I need to write the title cleaner, but I didn’t change it, because I left it a bit messy to show artistic values within the piece.

I am proud of creating the chracter dilly grump, symbolizing the Trump as a stubborn billy goat.

I want to keep working on speed because I spent 2 extra hours after school to finish this project.

Bias is to assume based on your past information or guess, to stand on one side and feel “unfavorable toward other without them doing anything.

Having same perspectives on one thing will help you collaborate, for they have feeling and thoughts about something, but having the same idea will prevent the spread of more ideas, for everything is the same. Also, nobody will be there to oppose themselves, so they will assume themselves impenetrable, until their opponents fired straight in there logic hole.
