Floor Hockey Reflection

In this unit I learned something fun called hockey, the basic rule is to score other’s goal and score points, this invasive game was fun because you need to defend yourself and score points at the same time

Unit III Democracy Reflection

What did I do?

I worked on researching about 1st amendment and article 19; the freedom of speech and press, I also learned the bill of rights, and ancient democracy earlier in the unit.

I mostly researched about amendment 1 and article 19 and what caused it to happen, which was all around the American Revolution War.

When the Americans won the American Revolution War, they created the 1st Amendment and article 19 which was the freedom of speech and press.

What did I learn?

In Ancient Democracy, it was very strict and unfair, so people vote changes, and over time, it was changed better and better, and It become the modern democracy that we knew.

I learned that what was article 19, which is the freedom of speech and press, and amendment 1, and what caused it to be created, which was the American Revolution War. When the Americans won the American Revolution War, they created the 1st Amendment and article 19 shortly after.

I learned that now amendments and laws are created and some fun facts about democracy. I also learned what is the three branches in the U.S Government in the Democracy Unit which was the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branch. Legislative branch makes laws, Executive branch takes out laws, and finally Judicial branch, which evaluates laws.

What worked?

I learned many things about ancient democracy and modern democracy and how they changed over time. Also I learned that what was article 19 and amendment 1 and what causes it to happen.

I did do the KWL in the Democracy unit, the K was know, which let us write about what we learned, the W was wonder, which let us write about what we want to know durning the unit, and finally we got the L which meant learned, we always do it in the end of the unit we write about all the things we have learned and discovered about democracy.

I am also glad about my improvement between units, although I have got a D, I’m still glad that I Improved my grades from (60.14) to (63.83).

What did not work?

I think I still can improve on my active learner skills for participating more on class. I think I didn’t really listen very well, so I will try to Improve it in the next unit, and maybe if I improve it, I can know more things and improve my active learner grades.

I also didn’t did very well on my quality of work, some reflections of mines were extremely short and had got many things in wrong format.

There was also a very deadly weakness that I must need to change was that my focusing and observation skill was too week, which was the core to nearly all of my problems, so I need to fix it as quick as possible to avoid more trouble.

Personal Relevance.

I learned many things about ancient democracy and modern democracy and how they changed over time.

I think my listening skills got better, but I think it’s not enough, so I will make it better in the next unit.

I mostly researched about amendment 1 and article 19 and what caused it to happen, which was all around the American Revolution War. And I am super exited about the next unit.

Semester 2 Goal

I want to improve my active learner grades by doing my work without any silly mistakes, I will check if I am really focusing to work or not and submit work on time, my solution was to always check if I am really focused and try to do my work better and faster.

Smart Goal Reflection

What did I do? 

During Semester 1, I want to develop my time management skills, so I always checks the time. And go to the class early

What did I learn?

I learned that to always check the time and prepare early to class

What worked?

My time management skills got better.

What did not work?

Sometime I still got late even though i knows the time.

Personal Relevance

It changed my time management skills, I improved it by time, I will always check the time to see if I’m late or not.

badminton reflection

what do we learn?

I learned what was a legal serve, and I also know the distance to do a legal serve. we understand serves and passes and also rules for badminton.

Roller Coaster L4 Movie

What did we do?

We started by completing an investigation to determine the relationship between Potential Energy and height. And then we made tracks to let the marble roll safely on the roads.

unit || Ötzi reflection

what do we do?

we did a mock trial about Ötzi the iceman, we made our classroom look like a court. it was really fun

what did we learn?

we had learned about Ötzi the iceman; about how did he died and if he was murdered, then how was he murdered.

what is working?

I learned more about the time when it was ran Stone Age and copper age, I alsonlearned more about Ötzi the iceman.

what’s not working?

I still need to let my handwriting be better, and I need to do the work on time.

personal relevance

in this unit, I think it was fun to learn about Ötzi the iceman and to learn about the past, I liked the courtroom the most. It was not a boring classroom anymore. It was a room what is a army of people discussing about the iceman.

Soccer Reflection

what did you learn?

I have learn to do better teaming, learn how to collaborate and planning how to plan a plan.

I learned to plan better

what is something you’re proud of?

I am proud of how I work with others. Doing all kinds of team work

what is something you can work on?

I can learn more skills.

Egg Car Reflection

what did I do?

I and my partner worked on the egg car, we have built seatbelt, crumble zone, and we test it over and over agian.

what did I learn?

We have learn newton’s laws for doing the egg car, we think about all the laws we knew and then build a thing to protect it. Like newton’s 1st law of inertia, 2nd law of acceleration, and the 3rd law, which was action and reaction.

what worked?

I think the most successful part was the egg survived. it didn’t crack, although the car was a little shaken up.

what did not work?

the car was unstable, and a little shaken up while on the road, it slid down a bit, but thank fully the car survived.

personal relevance.

I think we did a great gob for making the cart, even though the car looks a bit crumble and unstable, but we still survived! I think we need to let it look good and make it more stable.

Balloon Cart Reflection

what did I do?

I with my partner made a balloon cart using a rectangular plate, a big and small straw, hot glue, and of corse, balloon, we also had a competition with others in class. It looks actually very cool. We used it to learn Newton’s law of motion.

what did I learn?

I learned how to apply force and how the mass effect the speed of the cart, I learned Newtons 2nd law and 3rd law of motion, I learned types of forces, and types of action and reaction. Newton’s 2nd law says that the more mass it applied, the more slower the moving object was, we saw this law in action with the balloon cart when we add weight on the balloon cart.

what worked?

I learned Newton’s law of motion in a fun and interesting way. we make balloon cart together, we do trash-ket ball together, we also made the challenge of letting the egg drop in the mug without falling out and cracking.

what did not work?

I think I still have a struggle on listening instructions. Like when teachers are giving instructions, everyone was doing something, but I am just standing there, doing nothing, I think I need to change it to be better

Personal Relevance:

I think I have some fun, but also some mistakes. we’ve experienced a lot of fun, played a lot of games. But also, rooms for improvement. I think I’m having fun. And I think next time I got to do it better.
