What did I do?

My goal was getting better at saxophone, it was specific because its really easy to understand that I want to get better at saxophone. It was measurable because I can play much harder pieces than before. It was actionable because I did have practiced my saxophone before this SMART goal, so its possible. It was realistic because I can keep on practicing to get better. It was time-bounded because at school we made a dead line.

What did I learn?

I learned how to play a lot of scales and played Lacour pieces. I learned to keep on practicing, so eventually I will get better and better.

What worked?

A few weeks ago, I had played my Lacour piece and my scales perfectly which made the teacher surprised. This is because I practiced slowly, not fast.

What did not work?

Sometimes, I would struggle on lacour and scales sheet because when I practiced, I practiced in a hurry, not slowly practicing the places that I’m struggling.
