What we did:
We started by completing an investigation to determine the relationship between potential energy and height. We also built a model (a rollercoaster) and write a lap report, we took data, and wrote conclusion with CER.

The Egg car was built with three A4 paper, and one straw, two wheels, a fake egg, also one meter of tape. We make this car to test if we put an egg in it and look if it crack or not by going down the slide and hitting the concrete block. We use it to learn newton’s law, and something like curmble zone, the safety.
I learn how to built a car and keep it safety with just materials that are really easy to break, and use this to learn about newton’s law.
We finish our egg car and it was safe! And we collaborate well.
We did it a little bit slow, so when people are already finish, we are still keep doing it, when we are finish, it already the last class. I want to be more faster.
I think this project will help us to do well at understanding about Newton’s law, it can help us to learn about force and energy too! So this project help us to learn many things!🥚🚗

What did we do?
we did volley ball, and we learn how to serve with under hand, we play games with our team mate. We also play some little games like three people stand together and we hit to the person that are right to us, and that person hit to the other person at the right and keep doing, I think that is really hard because if we can’t catch the ball then the ball will bounce out.
What did I learn?
I learn how to serve and play volley ball with technique, like we learn how to serve with under hand, and me with my team mate collaborate very well. We also learn many ways to catch the ball like, hit high then use under hand to hit over, or hit low then use two hand to hit low to go over the net.
What went well?
we went well when serve because sometimes when we severs the ball will bounce out so it the time that we need to collaborate with our team mate. Like sometimes other will hit out and it the time we work together, we call everyone too speart out so we can has fall high and over the net.
what did not work?
I think I can work more well at doing serving, I will hit out or even not over the net! I think that is the thing I need to work more at next time!🤭

What did I work on?
In this unit I work on making CER paragraph writing of Ötzi and learn many things from the past like Ötzi the ice man that are lived 5300 years ago. We observation, Inferences and wonder about is Ötzi murdered or not and has a mock trial that we all have a thing to do that shows that he was murdered/ not murdered. I’m a court reporter, and I need to show Ötzi has been murdered by an arrowhead, and I also need to write report, interview, take note, take photos and make poster. And we also work on what is an open question and what is a close question, that are really helpful for us to interview other, to write report. (to help to do the poster)
What did I learn?
In this unit I learn about why we should care about the past? Why is it so important to learn about the past. And we export a person called Ötzi that live 5300 years ago we learn about him and read article of him and write question board about the question we are wonder to him. We learn many facts from the past and some mystery that we can’t ever solve (like who is the person that killed Ötzi, why he/she wants to killed Ötzi why he has so many tattoos and where does he get that axes)
What worked well?
I work on well at doing a good a good job at reporter I interview many people and have good ideas to write many posters I think I do very well at doing the Ötzi CER paragraph and open and close question. I search and read many articles to get facts from Ötzi the ice man to do my reporter card.
What did not work?
I think I didn’t really work well when I was making my interview question. This is because, I only ask them 5 question per person. I could have dive deeper about the question based on their topic.
Personal Relevance
I think the personal relevance that connect to me is I can also use open and close question when I was older. And use CER paragraph it can help me to write good detail reason and evidence to help me at the future! Also, that can make me have more question to ask, so at the end of the unit I can answer all the question to let me understand more.

What do you learn?
I learn how to gribble the ball to the net, and play with my teammate, how to work together to defeat the team how to defence the ball from the the other group to not let them to shot the ball in our net.⚽️🥅
What helped
I think the teammate help me and Ms. Eni, because if they don’t said that were did I go or who I will give the ball to and shot, if they don’t help me I think it really hard to play well with other group like with the boys.
What is something you are proud of?
I think I’m really proud of me that I can shot in the ball and play well, because they all said “omg, Michelle you are so good you are my god!” even though I’m not that good.
What is something you can work on?
I think I need to work on work with other team to know more people.
The Balloon car was built using, two straw, one cardboard, one ballon, and 4 wheels . We used it to learn about Newton three Laws of motion,Ex: First Law (Law of Inertia):An object at rest will stay at rest, and an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. Second law, F=ma (Force = mass × acceleration), Law of acceleration. Newton Third Law ( this is the law of Action and Reaction) , every action, have an equal and opposite reaction.
I learn how to make a ballon car, with the material that is very uncommon. We learn how it move, and why it move like: the balloon cars move because air pushing out the balloon shoves them forward. It help us to make go more faster (we use unbalanced force)
We work well at teamwork, me and Anna work very hard together making it roll, fast and try if it has unbalanced force, or witch Newton law is it.
Our ballon sometimes fly away, like we didn’t secure it well so it will fall down sometimes. But we still try it and fix it with tape and hot glue.
I think it will help us better in further, because Newton’s law is very important in collage, and newton 1 ,2,3 law help us to do more better at experiments in science.

What are we doing?
Writing a fictional story based on a theme that matters to me.
What are we learning?
Theme (my purpose for writing this story, my message to readers)
Character Development (creating believable characters with positive & negative traits)
Plot (the sequence of events in my story; Western and Eastern approaches to storytelling)
Setting (the world that I create for my story)
What’s Working:
I think I work well at doing my summary, because that can help me to do more well at organise my plot/challenge and ending, well.
Areas for Growth:
I think I need to type more faster next time, because I didn’t even finish my story, so I want type more next time, and finish my story on time.
Personal Relevance:
I think this can help me to have more ideas to write, because this unit is creative writing so I think thinking the ideas and summary is very important so I think this unit help me a lot on writing (plot, summary, conclusion, theme)

TASK: Write a thoughtful portfolio submission for Art Class in your 6th grade portfolio.
This is your writing prompt: Write about an artwork of your choice that you are proud of having made. When you write about it, share what the project is, how you made it, what materials you used, which methods you applied.
Share with the reader why you are proud of this artwork and what you learned or discovered in the process of making this artwork.
I’m proud of my plaster work, because I make my shape and colour very good,I really like it. and I make my shape very, very round and it a hard work .Also I really like how I draw the rabbit sence, and chosing the background, put some glitters on it that make it more cute.
It made of plaster, and some wet paint, also I use news paper to let it be more stronger not let the ears always felling off.

What did I learn:
I learn how to do swim in different way /types like back sork, snocerling and learn how to use the mask that can breath in the water, and trying to not let the water in. We also learn how to jump in the pool without letting the water in and can see clearly.
What did I enjoy?
I enjoy swimming with my friend together, and “dive” in the water(at the most deep place). And I enjoy to do free style, because that was the only type of swimming that I do that more good than the other!
