PE Badminton Reflection

I learned that you can’t put a finger up when you hit the shuttlecock and drop shots when you defend your self. I improved on serving back hand and netshots even if I am not the best but I still improved. I also improved on knowing what is out or what counts as in and the rules because I was confused about the rules before. I also learned a lot of different kinds of serves and I learned how to hit the shuttle and not miss it without a shorter handled racket.

Art Sketchbook Cover

This is our art sketchbook cover project. This is supposed to show us through our sketchbook. The empty top part of my sketch book is the empty part of my life where I don’t know who I am or like my life crisis’s. The earth is the fact that I travel a lot and that it a big part of my life, the flowers are just really important because whenever I accomplish something in my life my family gets me flowers and its really sweet. The hamster is something I really admire because its really cute and although its a meme I love it. the swan stamp is really important because my first time on pointe in ballet I did the four swans so that was really important. the whale is really important as well because I am really in to sea life and my favorite sea animal is the whales :). the airpods and disco ball is just how I like to listen to music with my friends and be crazy and have fun.

Math Unit 3: Proportionality and Percentages

I understand that there are a lot of formulas and methods you can use to find the answer. Some new info I found out is that you can use real world problems with proportionality and percentages and that it can be easier to find out that way. Something interesting is that it was somehow easier than last year and I could keep up but im still not really good at it. I think the whole unit was tricker other than the proportional relationships part.

Social Studies Unit 2: Visual Presentation

I chose to do stop motion because I knew it was going to take a long time doing it and I thought that would teach me time management because I was also helping Ella for her presentation so I thought that it could teach me a skill, so i think i did well on that. But i need to work on editing because the pictures were NOT straight and the video didn’t go a smooth.

Social Studies Unit 2: Essay 

One thing I did well in my essay is the introduction because I think it was the best part of my essay and I also think my introduction also worked as a hook so I think that went well.

One thing I still need to learn to is find more information because most of my info is the same thing.

Portfolio – U2 Summative

I think my summative was better that my formative because I got a little help and I understood more but I was still confused.

I’m proud of knowing what grade I might get because I usually just get a 2 and I know I’m going to get it because I do my best but I go off topic or something like that.

I think language arts in general is challenging because I think CERER is easy but somehow its hard and reading is fun but its hard to focus and its also hard to find. good book.

I think I take in feedback fast but it only helps a little because sometimes even if i understand something its still hard to work on something I’m not good at in the first place.

If I could redo the summative I would want to redo the CERER the most because after the summative I understand a lot more because of the mistakes I made.

An advice I would give myself is to read more because even if I don’t enjoy reading it will help me alot

A goal for me for the future is to read more and get more help.

U2 Summative Portfolio Lang Arts Collaborator

I think i would get approaching or approaching plus because I think i do well in most of the requirements other than raising my hand. I don’t know why I don’t but I think its just because I’m afraid to be called out if im wrong 🙂

To improve I think I want to try to be more confident and try to raise my hand more often before somebody has the same answer 🙂 and I want to read more so i can get better at CERER.

Health Decide Model

In class we learned about teens addictions and what causes them to be addicted and the reasons why they get addicted. So, Ms. Dani gave us a link and told us to find some information and use the decide model to a show the steps to decline a situation.

D: Define the Problem is the story that is the main topic and the rest of the decide model is building off of that.

E: Explore your Options show the options you have in the situation your in from D (define the problem)

C: Consider the consequences is imagining what is the outcome to the options you have which helps you choose or think of what to do.

I: Identify the values it insures that your thinking about yourself.

D: Decide what to do is exactly what it sounds like. You choose which option you have which is from E (explore your options).

E: Evaluate your Decision, is basiclly a reflection.

Soccer Reflection

I learned that I was bad at soccer and I also learned that soccer is scary 🙂 something that helped was that instead of going after the ball i just defend because that lowers the chances of getting kicked. I am proud of doing a match with the boys team because they were very aggressive. Another thing im proud of is that i remembered the rules and I know the different roles (i think) in soccer. I think i can work on kicking the ball into the goal because I can’t aim well.

PE swimming reflection

In this unit we learned the basics of floating and treading water. we also learned artistic swimming techniques and we created a routine and presented it to the class. I think it went well because we went first and there wasn’t a high expectation but i think we could work on our flips and lifts because thos were the things we werent very good at 🙂
