What did I work on?

I worked on studying the change maker Abraham Lincoln and highlight two articles, one was the Gale article and the other one was the Britannica. We had to highlight important information in yellow, words that we don’t know in blue and connections in green. Also, we had to finish a graphic organizer, we can use information in the articles to finish it, we also did the Flint AI and I got a meeting.

What did I learn?

1. I learned what it takes to be a change maker by the change maker having these characteristics and qualities:
   1. Persuasive
   2. Being a Leader
   3. Taking action when he sees slavery
2. I learned that I have strengthens in these reading comprehension skills:
   1. I can define information in the Gale article and the Britannica article
   2. I can identify Abraham Lincolns characteristics and remember them
   3. I can understand information that is given and finish the work
3. I learned that I have need to improve in these reading comprehension skills:
   1. Highlighting the more information, I only highlight information I need
   2. Remember more words

What worked well?

I am proud of the following work Gale article, the profile and the AI flint

Im proud of these because first in the gale article I got a lot of important information and words highlighted which helped me in the other assignments do better. Im also proud of the profile because me and Lucas added important information to the profile and added the famous things that Abraham Lincoln did. Last Im proud of the flint because I read the passage hardly and answered the questions correct and got a meeting.

What didn’t work?

I found some of this work challenging, the graphic organizer, the characteristics sheet, and the Gale article hard.

I found the work above hard because in the graphic organizer I had to add a lot of information so I had to write, write, and write, which took a lot of time. In the characteristics sheet I had to find and define a lot of characteristics for Abraham Lincoln. Lastly, the Gale article was hard because we have to find a lot of information, plus the Lincoln article was 12 pages long so it took a lot of time for me to finish the article.

Personal Relevance?

Reading comprehension skills and research notes taking skills are important for my future because I need to use this skill to read and take notes about passage, and if I occur to this kind of long passage I can use these skills to finish tasks
