Unit 4 Dystopian Fiction Reflection 📖

What did I learn about Dystopian Fiction?

In the start I did not know what was Dystopian Fiction but know I now what is a Dystopian Fiction. Now I know what is a Dystopian fiction, a Dystopian Fiction is a control kind of series and tells some kind of control life.

How does Dystopian Fiction invite me to think about the real life?

When Jonas’s dad gave the baby a weighed the children they said the bigger one couled live and the smaller one will have to die some parents will like the one who is stronger and the other one will get less love.

I enjoyed/did not enjoy The Giver( Explain)

I enjoyed The Giver because it told a very interesting book and it told me there are some places is like this.

How have I improved my ability to write a academic paragraph?

I improved on my academic paragraph because I was practicing a lot in langue arts so I got better in my academic paragraph.

How am I better now interacting with others with discussions.

I improved on that because I talked more deeply in a discussion and I learned about what they thought and I might never thought about it before.

Balloon Car 🚗

What did I do well?

Well, every thing went well. But when I put on the coins and we let go of the balloon car the coins fell at the same time when I let go of the balloon car.

What should I improve?

I should improve on the shape of the egg car because I think it is a bit too small. And the balloon can’t really fit on it.

What went well?

Everything in there worked our balloon car went all to the end of the classroom. But it went a bit out off control when I let go of the balloon car.

Personal revalance

I think this will help me in the future because I think in other units we can use on on other lessons too.

Egg Car Challenge Science

What did I do?

We made a egg car and it looked ok.And our goal is to not let our egg break that was the whole idea of this. We made our car it looked like a round roof a long paper underneath it so the egg won’t fall out of the the egg car.

What did I learn?

I learned Newton’s 1st law and 3rd law can be shown on the egg car and around the world. Newton’s 1st law was acted on when the egg car was in motion ( going forward) then the bricks ( unequal force) came in and stoped it. And the 3rd law was shown on when the egg car crashed into the bricks and the egg wants to fly out.

What worked?

In our car the design of our car worked well because the egg was in the hole and it covered the whole egg it was a very smart idea. And the part in the front it was very a crash zone it stops the egg from crashing.

What did not work ?

Every thing did there job! Hooray!

Personal Relevance

It will help me in my future because me and my partner needs a lot of collaboration.

Art

I am proud of my clay because I did a lot of work on it and I learned how to “glue” them together. And I learned that clay has other ways to make and so I used a lot on my clay it worked very well. I made it by slip, carve, hollowed, and joined them together.

French review

    What worked well?

    Well I did not know French when I am smaller. And I think I learned a lot in the past and I learned a lot words.

    What did not work?

    Well at least to know I think every thing is working great!Hooray!🥳

    What should I work on?

    I should work on my focus on my task and do it faster. And remember I have to test in French class more and to be focused on my homework too.

    Fiction Reading-Character Analysis

    What are we doing?

    Writing a fictional story based on a theme that matters to me.

    What are we learning?

    Theme (my purpose for writing this story, my message to readers)

    Character Development (creating believable characters with positive & negative traits)

    Plot (the sequence of events in my story; Western and Eastern approaches to storytelling)

    Setting (the world that I create for my story)

    Whats working?

    My story about “Twist is working pretty well because the story’s front writing is going out great and so that my story is having a very good start. I enjoyed of the planning because the planning was a video in my mind what is my story is going to belike was really fun to do.

    Areas of growth?

    Next time when I write a story I should type faster because I type pretty slow and I can only writ one page and one sentence it is really slow when I type and next time I can make it more detailed.

    Personal Relevance

    This creative writing will help in the future work it will make me type faster so that I will get really calm when I hear that I have to type things on my laptop.

    Critical thinking

    I played with Indi and found out that some blocks does not work well but when we used other blocks it worked well.

    I learned that the GraviTrack some trails are strait but some or not so it made it harder to let the ball go to the write way.

    In GraviTrack we were thinking that will it go up but we thought that it won’t because there is another that makes it go up

    When we try to let Indi from our way it looked like it is going left but it was going right so it was going to the wrong way and it went in to the wall. We have to stop it so we put it on the red card to let it stop it stoped by the way at the end.

    Today’s learning will help me in the future because it might go like think more and think what is the boss thinking and other people so I can think before I work.
