In this unit we learned about plants and animal cells, and also the human body systems.

We made a cell out of jelly and candy to replicate how a real animal/plant cell would look.

At the end of the unit we made a blind box of how body systems work together when we either get sick or play a sport.

When we were placed in our new tables, I worked well together with my new table mates.

When our table decided who to put the notebooks back, we just kinda put our own back.

When we were asked to turn and talk with a partner I would actually talk to them, since I am a skilful communicator.

When I was asked to contribute to class, I would answer the questions to the best of my ability.

When I made a dystopian story with my partner in unit 2, I communicated with my partner to be able to make our story, we had no disagreements at all since we have worked together in the past.

When we did product branding, me and my partner worked together well to finish our task.

I am proud of how i had a good claim. A challenge for me was that I had a really long piece of evidence. I didn’t really use feedback. I would get shorter evidence. For unit three I should use my time better.

In this unit we learned about perscription drugs, mainly pain killers and made a model explaining what we learned.

The problem we had to make our model on was how your roommate offered you painkillers and said that they would help you calm down for an upcoming presentation.

D was for define, E was for explain, C was for consider, I was for identify, D was for decide, and the last E was for evaluate.

What we learned was that pain killers have really bad long term effects, and are very bad for your health.

In our last PE unit, we learned how to float, and how to treed water. And at the end of the unit we even put together our own artistic swimming routine. Somethings I learned was how to float and treed water better. Something I want to improve on is swimming better.

Something I am proud of is how I have improved my understanding of dystopian characteristics.

A challenge for me was to find convincing evidence to prove my claim.

If I were to re-do the assessment, I would check my work more often.

Between now and the next summative I will review what we learn in class every 2 days.

Some advice I would give myself is to review my resources more often.

Something that was challenging for me was identifying the types of characters (Round, flat, …). If I could re-do the assessment, I would make my final CERs longer, and more accurate. Between this formative and the next one, I will study more about how to identify different types of characters in dystopian settings to assure I mean standards next time. Moving forward I think I should read more dystopian books.

I used to think that all the people who had “Dr” in front of their name would be someone who is trust able, but now I know how anyone can just put “Dr” in front of their name, and also that more followers doesn’t make you more trustable.
