In this unit, the top 3 most important ideas in this unit’s was learning about consent and what is really consent is. For example if the person is half asleep and says yes or no to something it’s not really consent. Next most important thing we learned is identify unhealthy relationships. this is important becuase we now know when to back out of an unhealthy relationship and how to get out of one. Finally we learned about how social media influences people’s gender box’s. In class we learned about gender box’s and how if somebody dosen’t fit in some of the box’s they can be hurt.

swimming
I think I improved my speed and stamina in swimming as I felt like I was a lot faster. I was surprised by my skills in golie and how fun it was. As I generally not like swimming and I had a lot of fun in this unit esspasilly in the games.
Soccer
During Soccer I improved my dribbling skills. As I felt like I got faster while doing. I was also surprised by how good my defenceove skills are

The mental health unit 2 project was where 6 different groups got 6 mental health issues and how stigma has affected it and how social media has changed how people view it becuase of it. I am going to talk about some of the things I used to think but, now I am going to share what I think now.
One thing I used to think is that mental health problems can be easiled fixed by a expert and that it wasn’t something we needed to put a lot of money in. Some of the ways my thinking has changes is learning about the struggle that the people are going through and how much stigma has been placed on these mental health issues and how hard it is for them to get the help they need due to stigma but, now I think that this is a serious issue that needs to have help and these people go through a lot of struggle.
Another thing I used to think is that their was not a lot of stigma on social media and news organization and I through out this unit I learn some of the things that people say and I was really shocked. For example “I am so OCD” or depression is just something you get once in a while. But, now I think stigma Is a huge issue on social media and the government or these companies need to do something about that is gotten that bad and this unit has been very helpful for learning about the stigma going online and they are going to help a lot of people. if this was in a lot of other schools and some of the stigma people believe is just so crazy and needs to be addressed.
Baseline and WOOP Goal
“My WOOP goal is to use a productivity app to stay organized with homework and personal projects. Specifically, I want to dedicate one hour daily to important tasks like assignments and my long-term bead art project of building a massive Charizard. Currently, I struggle with organization and frequently forget assignments due to distractions from games and online activities.
My baseline shows poor organization habits – I regularly forget assignments and lack a consistent system for tracking important tasks and deadlines.”
The app was called Evernote and some ways you could use the app include note-taking, calendar management, and a task reminder system with priority levels. the goal of the priority levels was to see what you had most important to do and would focus it’s attention of reminding you of this task. Also, the calender system was also a good way of reminding you to do things if you checked it every day.
“The app’s primary functions include note-taking, calendar management, and a task reminder system with priority levels. While it promises to improve organization, the file management capabilities are limited. The priority-based reminder system directly supports my WOOP goal by helping me remember assignments and important deadlines.
I used the reminder system most frequently since my primary goal was remembering important dates and tasks. However, other features like note-taking didn’t significantly support my WOOP objective.
Key limitations include the app’s inability to send reminders when closed – if I restart my computer and forget to reopen the app, I miss notifications. Additionally, many of these features are already available through built-in computer applications that launch automatically. The marketing claims like ‘take notes anywhere’ are accurate but vague.”
“Based on my evidence, I largely achieved my wellness goal by checking the app daily throughout the testing period, with only one missed day. This lapse occurred when I restarted my computer and forgot to reopen the application, highlighting a critical weakness in the system.
The evidence supports partial success – consistent daily engagement demonstrates the app’s potential effectiveness. However, the single missed day reveals how easily the system can fail without automatic startup features. Extended use might improve my habit of reopening the app after computer restarts.
The app showed low addictive potential, which could be viewed positively or negatively. While this prevents unhealthy usage patterns, the lack of engaging features made me less motivated to interact with it regularly.”
“The app’s design prioritizes functionality over engagement, focusing on school-related tools like note-taking and task management. While beneficial for productivity, it lacks features that encourage sustained user engagement, making interactions feel routine rather than motivating.
The business model appears to rely on users recognizing the app’s practical value and purchasing subscriptions for enhanced features. This straightforward approach aligns with the app’s educational focus.
The design successfully promotes healthy habits by avoiding addictive elements common in other apps. All features support academic success without manipulative design patterns, though this restraint may reduce long-term user retention.”

FLINT HELPED ME WITH SPELLing
I chose the L4 question as my best work as I felt like it was my best work becuase it was by far the hardest and I spent the most time on it figuring out you need a reflection which I think is pretty challenging
Thought the unit Improved most on learning on what transformation is becuase I have not really heard of it but, learned it weII.
l feel I still need to work on check over my work becuase I missed one question due to not seeing the scale factor being 1/2 but, I thought it was 2. I could maybe read it aloud quietly.
3 things I am good at
1. I am good a dilations
2. learning new concept
3. using mathematical precistion
3 things I want to improve
In the next unit, I want to work on handwriting and taking my time This important because if I miss something I can get it right after looking over and my teacher will be able to read.
One thing I did well was I think I did a very good job was teaching my alien. As my alien could speak complex sentences and I taught it imagery while I don’t think a lot people taught their alien imagery. Also, It used only complex sentences and compound but, used them pretty well.
One thing I need to improve was analyzing the paragraph more I felt like if I analyzed it more I would get a better resulted. Also maybe look at the big eight more I think it would have went better and maybe I could’ve practiced more
One thing I like about this unit Is the complex story it made.
One thing I didn’t like about this unit but I wish that maybe mine would be connect to the story becuase I felt left out.

In my opinion some of the most important things we learned this unit is the Amygdala, FFF, Eustress vs distress and the reward system. The Amygdala is your brains detection of danger and sends you into the FFF response but, most of the time it wrongfully activates when the hippocampus sends a scary memory that you had like taking a test. The FFF response is what your brain goes into when the amygdala activates and is the Fight, Flight and Freeze mode Leading you to get different emotions. The Eustress is when you are at a good amount of stress like a deadline that you have time to do and have schedule timed and distress is when you have like no time to do an assignment that is due the next day. The reward system is activated when you have a good memory of waiting like waiting for the price of a gaming console to go down instead of just buying it at higher price.
The health unit has taught me that why I may get really mad and how to respond to this and why I may react like this. Also I learned about a lot of how your emotions and responses. I also learned how the amygdala effected the brain
I think the most surprising thing I learned in this health unit was how underdeveloped the prefrontal cortex was at even age 18 and made me reconsider what age some people should be aloud to do things like driving. Due to them taking more risk at even age 18.
I think knowing about the amygdala will help influence teens and adults. This helps influence teens and adults becuase for example someone gets really mad at you then instead of react in a hurtful way you may take a moment to think that their amygdala was activated and may talk to them afterwards.
I think some of the most important strategies that I learned was staying organized becuase that limit the amount of time you go into the FFF and something else I think that may be help me is some of the breathing strategies that I learned is box breathing which I think really helps or stepping away
I liked the Table tennis unit becuase it was fun. I improved a lot going in as I was really good at spins but got my smash. I got play against. I love doubles and I had a create teammate we acted like minons. I think i need to work on my sever and top spin.
