The main theme of my abuse of power was that large companies took advantage of their workers as seen in my research on United fruit company. I this research I learned that the company manipulated the governments of countries in central American and also the American government in order too make as much money as possible.

I learned it was important to know what you’re presenting and to fully understand your materiel because it allows you to dive deeper into your topic and not get caught off guard by questions or mistakes.
Personal Growth
Over this year I have grown my skills of public speaking. I have gotten way better at presenting and showing off my work in front of the class and I feel a lot more better about presenting. I have also gotten better with my skills collecting research and finding that research from a credible source. With these skills I have become a more successful learner.

One Thing Me And My Partners Documentary Did Well
One thing our documentary did well was the quality of it. We made a very high quality documentary with our editing skills which was comprised of many visual graphics, real clips, and interesting content. We were able to make one of the best if not the best documentary and we were highly successful with the intro especially and the main content of the documentary.
One Thing Me an My Partners Documentary Could Have Done Better With
One thing our documentary could have done better was the script for the documentary. Next time I want to go more deep into the topic and show more details. I also want to make sure I have not grammatical errors and have a high quality essay.
Pleasant pond is turning green due to an algae bloom which is caused by fertilizer runoff which disrupts the ecosystem by giving it to much nutrients that plants use for photosynthesis which leads to excess algae growth. This disrupts the energy transfer by killing the underwater plants in the ecosystem which is the producer meaning the first step of where energy and matter comes from is disrupted effecting the entire ecosystem.
What would I like to improve on?
I would like to improve on my models and go the extra mile to get a 4. I want to put more effort in to meet standards and also do more to get a better grade and better show my learning.
I learned how to better dribble, shot, and pivot. In dribbling we learned to dribble on the sides of our body, in shooting we learned the proper form, in pivot we learned how to move to confuse the the other team.
Team Work
We learned how to pass the ball and where to move so you become open so people pass the ball to you. This is so we can get past the other team and score more points. The passes we learned were the bounce pass, over head pass, and chest pass.
Learned that people in media try to manipulate others to do certain things that befits their selfs. This can be for example you buying one of their products.
What I used to think what I know now
I use to think that almost all studies were credible
Now I know I need to do back round research on studies and use sources that are none biased sources that only state facts.
My Project
In this project I did a CRAAP test in Florence by Mills and their claim that they are cruelty free. We found that they were because the were certified by animal rights organizations.
Genetics are very impactful to characteristics of Apples because almost all traits of an Apple are inherited from the parent or parents of the Apple tree from which the apple was grown from. An example of this is if a apple trees parent reproduces asexuality through vegetive grafting the resulting offspring apple tree will have whatever trait the parent apple tree had, so if the parent had sweet apples the offspring tree will also have sweet apples.
How Environmental factors impact the Characteristics of Apples
Environment hugely factors into the characteristics of apples because when an apple tree reproduces sexually through pollination the resulting seeds will be genetically unique, much like how I don’t look exactly like my dad or mom but are almost completely different due to how the process of sexual reproduction works and how DNA is combined. This connects back to how the environment affects the traits of apples because if an apple tree is pollinated by bees, bats, ants, birds, etc., and then the seed produced by the tree is allowed to grow naturally without any grafting, the apples produced by that tree will have unique characteristics due to the difference in DNA. One final point is that apples can only be produced if the apple tree is fertilized through pollination. This means that if there is no pollinator in the apple tree’s area it will not produce apples.

The type of sexual reproduction that apples use is pollination after the apple tree flowers. During this period, pollinators fly into the flowers where they collect nectar and pollen sticks to their bodies. The pollinator continues to fly from tree to tree transferring the pollen, which leads to pollination. If a tree cannot be pollinated, it will not be able to grow fruit because each seed of an apple tree is genetically unique, so if the tree cannot get the other half of DNA it would get from another tree, it will not grow apples.

Asexual reproduction relates to the growth of apples and apple tree because in-order to make a tree that is genetically identical to the parent farmers must use a technique called grafting which is when a cut is made into a sapling where branches of the parent with the desired traits are put into to create a new apple tree with the traits of the old one. This making apples that are the same.
Most helpful and Impactful Activity This Unit
The clothes pin Punnett square activity was very helpful for me to understand how complex DNA is and how the mixing of DNA during sexual reproduction works. It also helped me practice using punnet squares so I can better learn that skill used in modeling alleles and genes during reproduction.
One area of improvement need
One area where improvement is deeply needed is in CER writing because I think I often cover things that are needed to meet expectations but also don’t cover everything to meet expectations. This can be improved by making sure I don’t waffle before standards are met, and meet standards before adding more information which could reach for a L4.

Helpful extended learning activities we’ve done
The most helpful extended learning activity was the connection between math by using probity and statistics to find what percent of an organisms offspring will have one trait over another based on what traits the parents have when using Punnett squares. Another helpful activity was the connection through math via area models, this helped me better understand us Punnett squares.
I want to improve my dialogue so it sounds more natural and is more entertaining. I wanted to make dialogue to be complex with layers and clear motivations behind each word.
One Thing I noticed about my writing is that I spend a lot of time building out my setting giving outs lots of details about the environment and events happening in and around of the world of the characters, but I spend less time on the dialogue of characters more focusing on what they see and do, not say.
One way I was an active learner during this unit was that I spent lots of time on the story adding lots of detail to create a fleshed out and engaging story with a unique plot and setting.
My Story
“When the Bombs fell not just the land and the people whom the land was abused by was changed, but also the very bindings which held together existence,”- Lady Ismaily, 2789 AB Volume 1- A Complete History of the Western Wasteland ` From the first breaths humanity had on this planet they have been looking up at the heavens for answers and new discoveries that could be made. Who could blame them? It is innate human nature. But where they should have been looking is down at the calamity caused by their very own hands.1456 After The bombs His head was drabbing just like every time he woke up. Just yesterday, the day before that, and the day before that. This was mostly because of his bed, or his lack thereof. Yup he slept on the floor in his cold metal shack in the shanty town between the docks and witch doctor’s hut. He lived everyday almost the same, woke up, got dressed, went to the market, found any odd jobs he could do, then repeat. It was, if anything a humble life, the best Christofer James could ask for, for he never went to school, lived in a shack, had a total of $12 waste land dollars to his name, but he was quick as a whip under pressure. That was as much as he had. But today, well today will be different than yesterday, different from the day before that and the day before that. As he walked through the streets of squarer and poverty-stricken neighborhoods which pretty much what the entire continental United States was reduced to more than 1000 years ago, although it was called the United States anymore, it was as Un-United as can be, and Christofer can see this as he watches a man be beaten down by a armed police man for stealing a loaf of bread. The man had long stopped resisting arrest, but the police office did not care for this fact because he continues strike down with his club and kick with is steel toed boots even as the man was lying unconscious on the cold hard pavement of the sidewalk. Christofer wanted to something, do anything, say anything, he wanted to jump Infront of the man, or even scream out “Stop it! Stop it! Your goanna kill him!” But he knew he could do nothing, or say nothing to stop this, because the one thing that would change is that he would be on the pavement too. This was normal. The man would surely die. The market square air was heavy and hot; it was quite an unconfutable place, a monument to chaos of humanity. Everywhere you looked there was at least a hundred people in every direction. The smell was incredible, a unique musk that would stick to your body long after you left the market. It smelled of meat, metal, the breath of everyone surrounding him, and dirt. In a back ally he saw two hobos fighting over the body of a dead giant cockroach. As he walked, he saw one of them pull out a shiv, then he heard a scream of pure bloody murder, but that hobo’s life is a story for another time. Best not to walkthrough that ally; he thought to himself mostly unaffected by this display of violence. Whenever Christofer enter the market, he would wonder, how much worse would today be then yesterday? And the answer to that question was it could in fact be so much worse. Today was not a good day for Christofer. He had 9 of his 12-wasteland pickpocketed and then he had to fist fight a hobo for a job cleaning the clogged toilet that also happened to be the only toilet in a 5- mile radius. He lost. Down on his luck he walked through the market without purpose then suddenly as a small boy holding an apple crash into him soon followed by an armed guard. “Hey! what’s going on he-!” He blurts out as utterly confused by the boys and the guard’s sudden appearance and why he is in the middle of it. “Hand over the boy!” The guard interrupts with a stern almost mechanical voice to do too the vocal changer placed in his mask put there to make the guards more intimidating. Christofer found the voice changer quite funny in fact. “I will do no such thing! Until you explain what is going on here!” He argued back at the guard for this time, and he could not simplify standing back and doing nothing. He had to; he needed to do the right thing. The guard frustrated at Christofers’ resistance to his order yells back in a berating tone, “That boy stole an apple from that food vendor! And unless you want you want to be beaten with him, you need to hand him over right now!” “Woah, Woah! Theres no need for any beatings, I can pay for the Apple!” He spits out before slightly regretting his words because he knew he could just barely afforded apple, but as he thought he understood the fact that this boy’s life, yet to be lived to the fullest, was worth a thousand times more the 3 dollars in the pocket. As he was handing the three silver dollars which was all that he had to the guard to buy an apple which he would not eat, this fact he did not mind quite as much as the events that are about to occur, a man with a black vest, wearing a balky winter jacket that was emitting a strange ticking noise much like aclock Christofer thought, anyways the man was running through the crowd push past and bumping into almost everyone he ran by without the slightest care, but then Christofer noticed one final important fact about the man painted on his jacket was a yellow symbol with the letters PCRF. He knew this could only mean one thing, rebels, and what he was taught from the age he could walk is that, when you see rebels, you run. Just as Christofer turns to run, he hears a massive BOOM! He turned back an all he could see was the massive fire ball, then he saw gem, the gem that would soon change his life, and then he saw the chuck of wall flying straight towards him and the boy. He moved without thinking and put himself between what was once a wall and now was a flying killing machine and the boy. The world went black. His head was drabbing, just like every time he woke up, but now something was different from every other day, there was something in his arm, something glowing with energy, pulsating green, it was warm, it felt like it was burning him, he thought he was dead but then he realized somehow someway he was alive. For god’s sake he could taste the blood in his mouth, he has collapsed lungs in his chest. How is he alive? He thought aloud, “Why am I not dead?” The gem glows brighter as he felt himself regain his strength. “Hello? Hello?! Is there anyone here?” A strange robotic voice called out. It sounded unhuman like a poor recreation of another person’s voice in a radio filter with the crackling static of a dead tv channel accompanied by the voice. Cough “Help… me…,” Christofer weakly squeaked out using all his strength to call out and reach his arm out from under the rubble. As he yelled with all his might, he could feel the broken bones in his jaw and the no longer intact ribs in his chest. “Worry not Human DogMeat is here, Code order 24 protects all human life,” the strange voice bellowed out as it lifted the rubble off Christofer. “How is the homo sapien still alive, the homo sapien received all most certainly life ending injuries. Both of the homo sapiens arms are broken, the homo sapiens lungs have collapsed, and the homo sapien is bleeding internally. Wait where did the homo sapien get that gem? Where did you get that ge-!” DogMeat is interrupted by the loud sounds of explosions and the screams of the battling guards and rebels; DogMeat quickly scurries away in terror. “Wait! Wait! What about the boy! Where is the boy! Christofer screams out at Dogmeat, even with his injury’s all he was concerned about was the boy who was standing behind during the blast.And then he realized that DogMeat was in fact dragging him to a nearby building. “Why…?” Christofer asked in a dashed state. “DogMeat must assess the leading cause of the homo sapiens of survive for data collection,” he plainly stated like dragging a half dead man through the rubble of a market square was the most normal thing he had done all week. “What are you?” Christofer asked in a faint voice, even in his week he was looking for information much like DogMeat. “I am DogMeat, 50% dog, 23% bull 14% elephant, and the last 13% human due to my brain being a human one, but we need to focus on you and the remarkable fact that your still alive, even though you were hit by a piece of debris going at a hundred miles per hour as recorded by my implanted speed monitors,” he responds robotically. “No need for any introductions from you DogMeat already knows everything about you, Christofer James, DogMeat has been watching,”
During this unit we learned how to better dribble, and shoot. Through this we learned how to better use team work during plays such as passing and defense. We learned dribbling to better puck control in order to win games and become better players. We learned also how to hold the stick, the right on bottom left on top.
During this unit we learned about the 3 crucial food groups, protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. Through this we learned how much of each food group I should eat to half a healthy diet for growth and development of our bodies. During our L4 Menu project we learned how to adjust how much of each food group we eat based on a persons age, size, activists, and preferences. During this project me and my partner Dexter made a meal plan for a high school age male who plays volleyball at a D1 level everyday for 2 hours. What he needed was more carbohydrates for energy, and proteins for muscle development, but he needed less fats due to the fact that fats store energy and he was already using all his energy.
Master Chef
During Master Chef our class was given the task of making a healthy tasty snack then share it with the school. The snake we chose to cook is healthy chicken skewers. We learned important skills such as meal prepping, cooking and how to incorporate being healthy and tasty to make snack for over 30 people. What we learned is that is important to plan ahead before the date of cooking when you have a food to cook and communication is key so that you can find a date with your partner where you both meet up and cook.
One healthy Goal I want for my self is to eat more vegetables and whole grains. This is because I don’t eat vegetables compared to the ratio of it on the chart. I want to eat more whole grains because the carbohydrates I eat are mostly not whole grains such as white rice and white bread which lakes fiber which I need more of.
