I improved by knowing how to do the correct citation, and focusing on the main information then adding filler words and information that I don’t need to make my essay not too long. I can currently go back and read through for better future essays, filtering all the bad things and bring the good things into my mind. My next steps are to look into the future and learn more skills to make my essays better.

This is the transportation I made, a copy of Apollo 13, which was the successful faliure.
There’s a lot that I can improve on, like adding more colors to the background to look better, and also more colors to the rocket to make it look more like the real thing. I could use a thicker marker to write the words to make it pop out more and be more clear to others without standing close to it.
I improved on problem solving, and also my expressing and speaking skills during the presentation. All of the things that I improved on are all kind of connected. I improved my expressing skills by working on my tone and adjectives that I can use to make the problem actually sound as bad as it really is. I improved on speaking skills and problem solving together, I improved on it because on the day of the presentation to parents, I forgot to bring my note card, but I remembered the bullet points of my note cards so I paraphrased my presentation mentally and also did better than practicing with note cards at home.Currently I can reflect mentally on things that I need to improve on and do it better next time when I meet a similar thing to do or project, I’ll know what to do, to do better then before. My next step is to not bring problems from the project before to the next project unsolved.
For this unit, I did a project on a essential question thats “What happens in our body when we get sick?” What I did was research on a specific sickness or illness and then make a cell model and but it in a blind box. Then on the day of the presentation, somebody takes a blind box and finds the owner of the blind box. And the owner would start talking about the illness they researched on and say how their model is related to it.

The illness I researched on was Polio, a illness children normally get a period of time ago, but now we have vaccines so it’s not a common illness now. If you get Polio, you would have some limbs or maybe all permanently paralyzed.
It happens going in from the mouth or the nose, disturbing signals sent to the rest of the body and the nervous tissue, gets into cells and infects the mitochondria, that self-destructs when infected. So that’s why limbs et permanently paralyzed.
I didn’t really do good on the CER because of some unclearness of my explanation, and my model was okay, the model was made a little bit small so I made a legend to let people know which is what.
Over all I did a okay job on this project.

This project is about decision making when you are close to dangerous substances, what choice would you make?
The scenario I got is when you are dared to try cigarette that was stolen from grand parents by your friend cause K-Pop stars are doing it. We read documents provided by the teacher, and researched online for scientific explanations, also to understand more to know better about the situation.
A Decide Model is when you split a problem into parts, from defining it, to solving it.
Define the problem
Explore your options
Consider the consequences
Identify your values
Decide what to do
Evaluate your decisions
In this case, we would of course choose to decline the dare, because it’s not worth the addiction. Doing one thing bad and leading to a chain reaction that’s worse.
I did okay.. cause I was scared to be the oppositions that mean to be the people that goes of to the other side and score goal. The reason that I’m scared is because your teammate are going to hate you if you missed a goal or didn’t get the ball that they passed to you. So I was either the goalie or the defender, the only times I went to the other side is when the teacher doesn’t just let us stand there and I’m cold and want to move and help cause my other teammate scoring are doing like 3v5/6. I didn’t really hat soccer, I just don’t think soccer is for me.
At first, when I was introduced to this unit I thought that why would we even need this unit? What are we going to learn about? But now, I know more to test information online. This unit, made me check the time the video was posted or what qualifications does the influencer have when I see a video on skincare or videos on solutions to health problems. The thing I learned to check true or false information is, the C.R.A.A.P test, that breaks each section of qualification if the youtuber is credible or not or if this video is true or not. The “C” stands for currency, when the video was posted. R stands for relevance which is if you needed or not, the first “A” stands for Authority like t, the second “A” stands for accuracy which is whether the information is right or wrongs. And the “P” stands for purpose, what does the influencer want to tell yu or promote to you? And that is what mostly guides us through the unit.
My Link To the Video I made:
Comments I got for my video is :
“I liked how you have a video but still presented in words”
“Your clearest idea was the fact you detailed explained who the influencer in detail”
“I liked how you showed her information through a video and provived pictures of the quotes. Overall you have information visuals”
“Your accuracy speech, you provided evidence and explained in details”
In this unit I learned about media, but I didn’t learn based on the whole “media”. I learned about different kinds of media, like newspapers and news, how are they bias or not bias, are they real or fake? And what they want to tell you. And comics and films, about how they are war time propagandas, as well as how you define them, how the characters appear as people from different places/ countries.
Comments my classmates gave me after my first presentation is, don’t speak in such a rough tone all the times, try not reading from the note cards during the whole speech, make my voice more loud and clear and confident, the voice in the video could also be louder. But then there are also comments on things I did well on, like good video and also talks in the right speed, good eye contact + clear voice, video was attractive. I am confident and have a lot of connotations.
In my own words Bias, is leaning toward one side from your own perspective.
One thing that’s good when you have the same perspective with other people is that there will be no arguing between which is what
(I can’t up load the video of me presenting, and the project, but I can only create a link for the project)

I made a potato pancake that was tasty, but it tastes better when it’s hot and crispy and that is a problem. Because I fried it on a pan in the morning to make it crispy, and brought it in a box with foil inside to keep it warm. But when it was time, the potato pancake was all soft and folded and I didn’t make enough for most of the people. My partners, Andrea and Qiqi made plenty of pumpkin pancake and yogurt so our snacks didn’t go out too fast. But the worst fact is that we forgot to get a cup for people to vote, so we got zero votes and I also think the Judge kind of didn’t like out food and us…
It was still pretty fun making the food, a experience that gets me one step closer to being successful. It was also very useful learning about the nutritions, proteins, good things and bad things that are contained in foods. And about processed foods, which kind of ingredients healthy, which ingredients are not, either whole wheat or processed food are healthier.
In conclusion, it’s pretty interesting having such a fun project, and learning so many more things about what I think that I have known enough about, finding out a whole new world in foods.

In order to survive, you need to eat, but what do we need to eat live a healthy life? A balanced meal includes, meat, veggies, fruit, fat, and even having a cup of water of milk will make your meal more balanced. But it’s the best to think most about what to eat during your breakfast, cause it’s the most important meal that decides how you might feel or how your mood will be for the rest of the day till you laugh or cry or etc. You should have meat or veggies and fat for at one meal the day.
But personally, I need to get more water, because I can only drink a lot water after or during sports, but not during class. I also need to eat more, because sometimes I just don’t know why but I just don’t feel like eating, so I need to stay positive. Staying positive makes me feel like eating, so that helps.
