What I have already learned about Mental Health and overall this unit is that Mental Health should be treated as much as physical health and that people with issues with mental health can tend to hide it to tend to avoid public humiliation and to avoid any moments of getting made fun of from their issues. People also think that mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc does not really have a affect on someone’s life and shouldn’t really be a big deal to handle. I use to think that Mental health can be severe to different genders of people but now I know that these issues will have an impact on everyone with a big impact or a small impact.

Surprising Facts this Unit
Some things that surprise me this unit is that I notice that there is often a higher percentage of girls then boys who are suffering from mental health issue like Depression, Anxiety, and much more. This often making me think that is this because all of these people from mixed genders aren’t mentally stable or is it because they have a experience of these issues throughout there life? Some other things that I learn is that these issues sometimes comes from ourselfs such things like low Self- Esteem and their overall self.
How do I now define mental health after learning more in class?
Now that I learn so much of Mental Health I now will often be more aware of people’s energy and I will often make conversations with people to open up of how they are feeling because at the end of the day, I will not understand what people are thinking about on the inside which its why its important to open up on how people are feeling throughout the day. Then, I will now be more understandable for people who are struggling with mental health and I can educate mental health to someone else to teach them the conditions and the stratgies that people use to control them.
What questions do you still have about mental health or mental health conditions?
Some questions that I still have about mental health is how can we manage the treatments of these conditions so that we can help others in the best way possible? Another question I have Is, “Is mental health issues inevitable, or do people do things that trigger these mental health issues?
My goal is to be able to save up my money so I can get more money in the future. For example, I get 1,000 RMB as an allowance, and if I save about 1,000 RMB for the next month, I can get more money by following that strategy. The outcome of my goal is to visualize the outcome of earning about a total of 3,000 RMB from saving up my money.
Part 2
Outline: My app that I use is called Money Manager, which I use to help keep track of my spending so I know how much I spend per day and to know how to save up my money. Money Manager allows me to manually log daily spending amounts and maintains a basic record of my expenses over time. However, the app lacks visual features like graphs or charts that would help me analyze my spending patterns in more detail—it only provides basic numerical tracking.”

How it supports my Woop Goal: Money Manager helped me develop better spending awareness by making me conscious of whether my purchases were necessities or simply things I wanted, which improved my ability to spend money more wisely. The app helps me manage my monthly allowance by tracking my spending patterns, which prevents me from overspending and teaches me to budget my money throughout the entire month. Seeing my current balance helped me make better spending decisions because I could immediately see how each purchase affected my available money.
Part 3
Limitations: “Money Manager’s well-organized design made it easy to maintain my daily tracking habit, demonstrating how good interface design can encourage sustained use.” Money Manager’s balance display feature is well-designed because it prominently shows how much money I have left, which helps me make immediate spending decisions.” “Although Money Manager lacks advanced features like visual graphs, it excels at providing clear, understandable balance information that effectively supports my financial awareness.”
Conclusion: “In conclusion, Money Manager effectively supported my WOOP goal of limiting spending and learning to save money by increasing my awareness of spending patterns and helping me distinguish between necessary and optional purchases.”
How was learning about the brain science impacted your understanding of your own behavior?
This unit, I was able to understand the concepts of the brain and how it can have a impact in real life scenarios, being able to explain the parts of the brain and how the concepts of the brain that controls our wellbeing.
First, I was able to explain the key words of the brain such as the Amygdala which controls the alarm system of the brain which controls our emotions ands how it reacts to situations similar to the FFF response that has the power to trigger our emotions in a positive way or a negative impact. Then talked about the Prefrontal cortex and Hippocampus with the Prefrontal cortex may be impacted with our behaviors by the situations that happen that happen which have a big impact of our behaviors and with our decision making strategies. Then with the Hippocampus showing the relationship between stress and key players in the brain with the cerebral cortex controls the thinking process of our brain. The second thing I was able to understand is how these parts affect our lifestyles from our perspectives. For example, with the Amygdala affecting how we react to situations hypothetically a life threatening situations and understand how does it control how we respond in these type of situations.
What was the most suprising thing you learn about the teenage brain?
I learn how teens can control their emotions different then the adult brain. I was able to understand the diffrences on how the Amygdala, Prefrontal cortex, etc can affect our daily lifestyles for adults and teens. I was able to understand both parts of thinking for the adult and teenage brain. I learn that teens can intend to have a bigger reaction when it comes to their emotions and compared to adults they intend to have more control of their emotions and they become responsible, Independent, and intend to have more integrity then teens. I learn with the PFC (The Pre-Fontal Cortex) teens can intend to rely more on their amygdala more than the PFC as their PFC is not fully developed. For the adults it is fully developed and adults can attend to be more independent, as adults will be able to analyze better with their decision making strategies as well with their behaviors, with adults being able to decide what decisions are bad and right and choose what is the right one to them.
How might understanding the teen brain improve relationships between adults and teens?
This will help me understand how the brain reacts to certain situations and know what to expect from the teens and adults. This can help me build up relationships from both teens and adults and to know how their brain will respond. Then with the functions of the PFC which is part of the brain that controls the decision making of the brain. Then now I am able to apply the PFC functions to situations in my life with my decision making and how I will manage from what are the right decisions and wrong decisions. Second, for the Amygdala, I am able to be aware of how big of my emotions can be in certain situations and know how the amygdala can have a positive impact and a negative impact. After, I am able to use some of the coping strategies that I listed so that in a negative situation I can know how to control my emotions in those times.

My Algal Bloom report explains how in cycles such as water, Nitrogen and in the Photosynthesis process can be affected by algal blooms. For example, in the Nitrogen cycle Algal blooms have a negative impact on organisms that are developed that have bacteria that can later affect the organisms in the aquatic life. It also causes toxic problems in the process in the Nitrogen cycle. Sometimes in Photosynthesis algal blooms can occur due to climate changes and season changes and this can affect the marine life of sea animals. In Human activities, algal blooms can get in the way of getting in waste water systems and can increase the risk of water bodies having algal blooms.

Our Ecosystem explain Photosynthesis by the Water cycle being transferred to the land and it explains Photosynthesis by the land help support the food chain in the ecosystem.
What challenges did I face during rehearsals or performances, and how did I handle them?
Some challenges that occurred was bringing my character with more emotion in my performance and how the character navigates through its own world. Second challenge that occurred was knowing how to bring more emotion through my character’s perspective. I had a hard time knowing how to use hand gestures more often in my performance.
How did my practice impact my peformance?
My practice had a great impact on my performance that helped me become the best version of myself on stage. I practice different types of hand gestures that can help improve in delivering emotion through my character.
What did I did well?
I did well on adding more hand gestures when I performed and was able to bring more emotion through my character. I fluently delivered good hand gestures when I said my lines to add good emotion to my performance.

One thing I did well on the essay was getting the information from my graphic organizer, putting it in my paragraph, and using the right terms for my essay so I could meet the right criteria for my speech. I did well on adding things that will connect to my speech when I am talking about the historical figure, and I also did well on adding more reasoning when I am talking about how did the figure made a impact in the music industry. One thing I think I could’ve done better is adding more to my essay so I could make my speech a little bit longer so I could add a little bit more pictures into my I Movie so It can be 3 to 4 minutes. Something else I could do is add more to the historical impact and how does it have an impact to today’s culture and talk more about their famous/iconic stunts that had a historical impact. One thing I could improve for the documentary festival is adding more to my speech so It can be at least 4 minutes long. I can also add more pictures so my videos won’t be at least 18-20 seconds long.
I can be an Effective collaborator by bringing ideas to the table so my group can have ideas on how to do the task. Steps I did to be this is bringing ideas to the table so I could be better on collaborating with my group so I could be a good Effective collaborator. One thing I can do to improve on is ask more questions to my group mates soI can get a better understanding of the task. Also I can help other members of my group to be better at supporting them when they are having a hard time understanding the task we have been given. This also means I should be more aware if people need help so I could take that chance to help out.
One time I solved a problem in PE is when I helped my teamates figured out a strategy to lead me and my team to success. I would help out my teammates to get better at the game even though they never played the game before. Feedback that I would give myself throughout this unit is working on communicating throughout the game so I can help my teammates seek success. This can help me in the game as well because it can work on strategies so I can get better at the game. One time that me and my teammates worked well was when we were doing the Dragon Dance because we were able to think and figure out what to do with the Dragon so we could move on with the next strategy. New skills I’ve learn this semester is new ways to communicate so I could lead to success this unit.
How do you think your summative compared to my formatives?
I think my summative was more detailed and had more information in it then my formatives. My presentation was very understanding the difference between a dynamic and a round character. It also talks about what characters that some people are in the real world.
What am I proud of?
I am proud of how I was able to fix all of my errors and make it more creative in just 2-3 days. I’m also proud of how I was able to pick a real life problem in make a Dynamic and round character in my story. Also I greatly made sense of the difference between a dynamic and round character in the story.
What are some challenges for me?
Challenges that occurred in my outline and my presentation were making sure the plot made sense in my outline and my presentation. Also, I had to make sure my voice was very entertaining so the audience would like the entertainment.
If you had to redo the summative assessment what would I do differently?
One thing I would do differently is I would learn a lot more what the difference between the round character of a story so I won’t make as much mistakes as last time. Also I would look at my dynamic and round character note cards to study so I won’t forget what the difference is in the future.
What advice would I give myself in unit 3?
I would say to myself that to keep on brainstorming to help my writing in unit 3 that will help me be successful in unit 3. Thus I would also say to make up realistic things that could happen in the next 10-20 years of our life.
Conclusion
One goal that I would set up is to keep on brainstorming to help me have an idea ofd my future work. This will help me have a lot of ideas before I do my work so that I can and will succeed in my future studies.
