TTG reflections

Chiang Kai-shek: The region of Xuzhou has experienced over fifty large-scale battles throughout history. The rights and wrongs are difficult to discuss, but historians have noted that it is precisely on this ancient battlefield that the rise and fall of many dynasties were determined. Hence, there has long been talk of seizing the Central Plains.
Instructor: Before the campaign began, we were hesitant to estimate the complete isolation of Xuzhou and Bengbu, which would cut off a large portion of the enemy. We have always been concerned about the Huang Wei Group joining the Huaihai Campaign. Now it appears that Chiang Kai-shek, having made a decisive commitment, gathered his largest strategic group, making the southern line’s strategic showdown seem so significant and vibrant.
Chiang Kai-shek: Years ago, the former prime minister led the revolutionary army in three divisions to converge on Xuzhou, marching northward. The day after we liberated Xuzhou, the Qing emperor, seeing the tide turning, announced his abdication. In April of the sixteenth year of the Republic, it was also in the suburbs of Xuzhou that I had the fortune to lead hundreds of thousands of brave soldiers to defeat the Beiyang warlords Sun Chuanfang and Zhang Zongchang, achieving a great victory!
Instructor: I’ve said that the War of Resistance against Japan cannot be rushed, and the War of Liberation cannot be prolonged. It seems that this statement was not wrong. Generally speaking, if our total military strength and equipment do not exceed that of the adversary, we should never enter a strategic showdown. However, in the more than two years of the War of Liberation, we have grown stronger and more refined, accumulating favorable conditions for decisive battles. It’s like a convex lens focusing the blazing sunlight into a single point, becoming white-hot and smoking; it cannot help but ignite!
Chiang Kai-shek: I don’t understand why everyone is talking about Xiang Yu being trapped at Gaixia, as if this ancient battlefield of the Central Plains is destined to bring us misfortune. Twenty years ago, I set out from Xuzhou on my journey, starting the Second Northern Expedition, uniting the leaves of the Chinese Begonia. Wherever our party and army went, the people welcomed us wholeheartedly; we truly had the advantage of timing. That vibrant scene, full of life and competition, is still vivid in my mind. Has it really changed so drastically in just twenty years to become our burial ground?
Instructor: The so-called strategic showdown is simply a gamble on the fate of the nation and the military. The word “gamble” doesn’t sound pleasant, but there isn’t a more suitable term to replace it; that’s just how it is. When facing such a situation, it’s hard to avoid feeling anxious. What is the reason for this anxiety? We are not afraid of burning; we are not afraid of overheating here or there. Our hands must not shake!
Chiang Kai-shek: Regardless of the circumstances, the forces in the battle are eight hundred thousand against six hundred thousand, which gives us the advantage!
Instructor: Six hundred thousand against eight hundred thousand is like half-cooked rice; whether it’s half-cooked or not, we have to eat it!
Skillful communicator:
During my process in completing the apprenticeship, I had the valuable task of developing my skills as a skillful communicator. This skill is essential in our daily lives, as we need to communicate effectively to others. The task will help me practice this skill in my daily life.

One of the most enlightening aspects was understanding the dynamics of group interactions. I learned to appreciate different viewpoints and skills that each team member brought to the table. This diversity fostered creativity and innovation in our projects. By actively participating in brainstorming sessions.
The experience in working with diverse people that I don’t know is essential in growing. These tasks taught me how to effectively collaborate with anyone, and stepping out of my comfort zone and challenge myself gives me the ability to become a better collaborator.

Reflecting on this apprenticeship, I feel more comfortable in encountering future challenges with a creative mindset. This journey has reinforced the importance of creativity and learning in my school life.
Critical Thinking:
During my apprenticeship, I engaged in a task centered on developing my critical thinking skills, which turned out to be a profound and enriching experience. This journey challenged me to analyze situations more deeply and question assumptions rather than accepting information at face value.
One of the tasks involve analyzing and predicting an information from a site. The site has many people doing it and I find the process in giving my view very complicated, such as finding possible evidence and comparing with other people’s answer.
Participating in discussions and debates with peers further honed my critical thinking abilities. It was enlightening to hear diverse viewpoints and learn how to constructively challenge ideas while remaining open to feedback. This collaborative environment encouraged me to refine my arguments and develop a more nuanced understanding of various topics.
Additionally, I discovered the importance of reflection in the critical thinking process. Taking time to assess my thought patterns allowed me to recognize areas for improvement and growth. Overall, this apprenticeship task instilled in me a deeper appreciation for critical thinking as a skill essential for navigating challenges in both my personal and professional life. I feel more empowered to approach future situations with a thoughtful and analytical mindset.
Resilience:
During my apprenticeship, I embarked on a task centered around building resilience, which proved to be a pivotal aspect of my personal and professional development. This experience taught me that resilience is not merely about enduring challenges but also about adapting and thriving in the face of adversity.
Throughout the apprenticeship, I encountered various obstacles that tested my patience and determination. Whether it was meeting tight deadlines or navigating unexpected setbacks, I learned to approach these challenges with a positive mindset. I discovered the importance of maintaining a solution-oriented perspective, focusing on what I could control rather than dwelling on what I couldn’t.
Additionally, I found that seeking support from family and friends was crucial in fostering resilience. Sharing experiences and learning from others provided me with new strategies for coping with stress. This collaborative spirit reinforced the idea that resilience is often strengthened through community.
Reflecting on this journey, I realize that resilience is a skill that can be cultivated over time. I now feel more equipped to face future challenges with confidence and adaptability. This apprenticeship has not only enhanced my ability to bounce back from setbacks but has also instilled a deeper belief in my capacity to grow and succeed.
Project:
For my science project that just recently launched, there were multiple skills that needs to be involved in the process in order to succeed with my group. For the most part, I will need to put effort into it to complete it successfully.
For the first part, we were given a presentation on the project, which involved a person talking about some car company or whatever, but related to the drag racing car. These taught me how to listen and gather information. I had an overview on this, including building a prototype and pitching it to others.
Then we got assigned partner, which I got someone I’m not familiar with. Tho this could test my collaboration skills with others that may not be my friend. For the most part currently, things seems alright.
We got guided on the way in exploring the prototype of our car, including choosing material and getting information from different sources.
The project is gonna be pretty challenging for me to work with someone that I don’t know, but succeed will come as long as I can work along these skills.
Extra curriculum:
I interviewed Mr Daniel about sleeping problem he was very experienced in this kind of situation.
I completed a running goal, and I do it weekly running to improve my fitness

I will try to achieve my goals for my values, although some may not accurate, but I will work for perseverance for my goal.

Students experiencing lack of sleep
Economy: Some students may have trouble with money, such as they might need to work overnight to earn money, or they’re busy scamming/buying stocks in they’re bed.
Nature: Sleeping less would mean students would use more energy while awake, doing whatever things.
Well-being: Lack of sleep would critically affect the health of students, such as causing sleepiness in morning, unable for brain to function, as well as mental and health problem. Sleep more could significantly improve a student’s well being
Society: Students may say academic pressure, but honestly this is no way close to the pressure in Chinese school. I think if people are not studying from when they wake up in 6 am till 9 pm then they shouldn’t complain, honestly just get rid of your life and you’ll finish in no time. Many students are just gaming or doing randoms till midnight.

I wrote about this picture in New york times, while the real meaning is somehow about environment protection?🤔 While I don’t see how picking weeds and grass associates with it, but I guess it’ll be hard to understand without other information.
Here is my amazing science fiction story, the names are totally made up. Creative learner #3 60 points
