-This artwork expresses my identity by the blue waves expresses the water and it is waves and it flows through and the icons are representing me they are thigns I love but it also show who I am and the purple and the yellow shows that not just the oject itself but I can go out and go deeper into each subject and things and the Icon I put represent me as a human
-The design strategies I used was the waves the darker blues draw attention and I wrote what this book is for and after that their eyes are drifted to the layer behind it and then your eyes can flow through the waves and while going through the waves you can see the icons that represent me and the purple and yellow helps the wave stand out.
I think something I did well was in the presentation was when I was presenting I did it with confidence and I didn’t repeat words a lot of times so my speech sound right and it didn’t sound weird. I think I need to work on decide what I wanna do at the beginning and not change in the middle of the project time so I can produce a a better project. Our task was to find a transportation or communication that was significant to history, and I chose the telegraph because it was a significant part to America back in the time and it was very interesting. I did my presentation in this format because I wanted to try out stop motion. But also I wrote all the information I needed to present and I presented it with the confidence I had.
We learned about simple interest and how you can do proportationality in money.
I feel confident about simple interest and how to calculate it and I can explain and calculate it well.
N – What new information do you have?
• In american, you have to do tip before tax or else the final cost will be wrong.
I – What is interesting about the unit?
I think the simple interest stood out because we needed to keep claculate so the money in a bank would be right but I was wrong and the simple interest made it so much easier.
And the simple interest will help you in your future when you bank or eat out etc.
T – What was tricky for you?
I think a challenge was in my CFU I didn’t see part of the quiz and I didn’t read the question carefully which lead to me getting a bad grade and I wish I would have been more careful.
1st, I researched all the information I needed and put them into a organizer. Which helped me in the essay because I was able to find information that could be just written into my essay and it made my writing so much easier. Then I write the essay with the information given from my organizer I write a claim about how the telegraph had a significant impact on the United States. Then I use the information from the organizer to write my evidence to prove that the telegraph had a more positive impact over negative impact but it also impacted America. And I tried my best to explain my evidence. Then I used AI to help part of it which shows some historical information and basic information. Last after I finished my essay I color coded with Purple,Green, And Blue.
One thing I did well in my essay is I stated clearly what happened and how the telegraph had a significant impact on america and I provided clear evidence to prove my claim. But also in my essay it was clear what was reasoning what was evidence.
One thing I still need to learn is to be more specific and I shouldn’t just repeat my evidence. I think if I can figure out how to do that better by actually explaining my evidence, my essays will be a lot clearer.
Meeting because I don’t go past expections but I do meet it because I try my best but sometimes I don’t collaborate as well so I don’t deserve an exceeding

Meeting: I participate, listen, and do my share most of the time and I work with my partner/group.
How would another student describe your collaboration in class?
It would be alright because I work well with partners but sometimes when I have a bad day I just tend to stare off and not really focus on my work so I don’t think I exceeded the expectations.
What will you do to improve starting in January?
Try to get to exceeding and even when I have bad days just try to focus and communicate with my partner so we can do the work well.
-How do you think your summatives compared to your formatives?
I think I improved a lot from my formatives for example, in my CERER in the formative I got two 2s but in the summative I got only one 2 so I improved but I think I wasn’t as prepared as I thought I was so next time I should prep more and at least aim for all 3s.
-What are you proud of?
I am proud of me getting 4s for my outline and pitch because I am really scared of public speaking and my leg was shaking while I talked to I thought I didn’t do good so I think specifically getting 4 for my pitch.
-What were some challenges for you?
I think a challenge is my cerer because I didn’t get a good grade but I know what I did wrong and I want to improve it.
-How effectively did you use feedback (both from peers and teachers)
I improved my reasoning in my CERER from the formative to the summative after my teacher told me that I shouldn’t just repeat my evidence instead I should explain the evidence well and maybe even deeper than the surface layer.
-If you could redo the summative assessment, what changes would you make?
I would be more specific about the claim and explain who’s desire to fit in and that maybe would have gotten me a meeting at least.

Practice more, work harder, litsen more carefully, and read the questions carefully

Get more 4s and focus on writing more specifically in my CERs

I learned that different substance can cause different reactions and drugs, etc. can cause addiction. And the drugs will make your life different slowly your body’s health will decrease and each substance can cause softer or harder effects.

I think for this unit we learned lots about how to get scale factor and for solving area and perimeter we learned a lot about it and we also learned lots about how to get scaled copys.
