Vision Board Smart Goal Reflection

Goal Progress: Yes, I made progress to achieve my goals. Even though I didn’t work everyday as i expect it to be, I am still very proud of my achievement. For example in swimming, I got 27 in 50 free and 30 in 50 fly. The steps I took to achieve these goals is to practice every single day without skipping a day, and you need to have discipline to achieve this goal. I just thought to myself, do it anyways no matter what, and this was all worth it.

Challenges: I had gone through many challenges throughout this year. with ups and down. For example, I have to skip some days just to go to swim training and improve and stay consistent. For example, when it’s like new year or break, I still had to train everyday and go to the pool and swim. I didn’t skip one day in those breaks. Another challenge I had to overcome is for example, when i’m sick, i’ll have some off days and I can’t really get to the pool yet. This can reset my progress a little and I have to train extra harder to recover to the pool.

New Insights: I’ve gained a lot of new insights from 2025. I learned that there are more ways to improve and train and study. I learned that staying consistent and having discipline is the way to achieve your goal. Motivation is only for a short period of time and you cannot have it forever. But however, discipline stays forever and it makes you do things even though you don’t feel like it.

Accomplishments: Some of the accomplishments I had this year is I am getting better both physically and academically. I got 27 is 50 free and i’m really proud of that. I also got better at math and I got better at algebra.

Revised goals: I won’t revise my goals because I feel like they are just right and they are not too far from me and not too easy. They are challenges but within my range, so I won’t revise my goals.

Support system: Some of the supports I got was from my coach and my swim peers and my best friends, and they really push me to my max and my full potential to achieve my goals.

Next Steps: My next step to achieving my goals is to work extra hard to achieve these goals. I want to be better this year and work more and strive.

Math Unit 3: Proportionality and Percentages

In this unit we learned about proportionality and percentages, and ways to convert fractions to percentage and how we can solve it. The formula for percentages is (part/whole)x100% for proportionality, it is y=kx and where k is the constant of proportionality. So k=y/x.

Some vocabularies are ratio, which is a comparison of two quantities. Proportion, An equation stating two ratios are equal. Percent, which is a ratio comparing . Rate, which is a ratio comparing two different units. A unit rate is where a rate where the second quantity is 1. For proportional relation ships, there are key words like constant of proportionality, which is a fixed number so for example, 1:3 is equal to 2:6 and the cop is 3 because using the concept y=kx.

The procedures for solving proportionality is first, you have to set up the proportion where you write two equal ratios in a fraction form, then, you cross multiply the numberator of the first fraction by the denominator of the second, and set it equal to the product of the denominator of the first fraction and the numerator of the second. After that, you have to solve for the variable which is using the inverse operations to isolate the unknown variables. And this is the steps to solve proportionality.

Some examples that will help me solve these problems in the futures are formulas, because these are very useful to calculate other real life scenarios and is helpful for my future life. I can calculate the percentages and other things so I can know stuff like the percent change or how many percent the tax had risen etc. These are really useful to my life in the future and these skills are very valuable.

Me As a Collaborator Reflection

Something good about my collaborator skill is that I like to communicate with a lot of people and I am able to talk about my thinkings with people and my perspective on things. I am also good at sharing my thinking in class and I think I participate in discussions a lot.

One thing I can work on as a collaborator is I can talk with more people and I can know more perspectives and other peoples view, other than only talking people I know well and i’m friends with.

How I can fix this is since I am in a new table without my friends, I can talk more with people and get to know my classmate better.

How this can help me with my future life is if I am working a job that requires a lot of talking, this can help me collaborate better and feel less awkward with other people I don’t know.

Social Studies Visual Presentation Reflection

This is my visual presentation for social studies. This combined my CERER paragraph and I showed this in a Minecraft world. The hospital show the negative effect of people getting hurt, and the smokes shows the greenhouse gas it causes and releases a lot of toxic air. The right side shows the positive effect like access more services like jobs, house, and leisure activities. The highway shows hpw accessible it is, and the red house is a car station. This increases more jobs so there is less people unemployed. This visual presentation showed me all the things i’ve learned into one Minecraft world.

Social Studies Unit 2: Essay

This is my essay to my visual presentation. At first, I have to research about 3 articles and some of the pros and the cons. I am researching about the topic about how the automobile made an impact on the American society. Then, we highlighted the important parts from the article that proves my claim. The graphic organizer has three parts for three of the articles and we have to cite it. For everyone of them, We have to write the pros, cons, who’s responsible for fixing the cons, and if it is going to work or not. Then after that we paste all of them in this document. We combined the strongest pieces of evidences and form it to be a paragraph. After that we have to highlight the hook, the history, the solutions, etc. This makes the final CERER for our topic on transportation.

Art Artivist Reflection

The title of my artwork is:Be Happy, because I want everyone to be happy and think on the bright side. The intended audience for this artwork is probably for the people that might have a bad day because I think my artwork can cheer someone up, and make them have a good mood. One illusion I used is color contrast because as you see, I have a lot of colors to my art work. And for my second artwork, I used lines and colors to make them stand out.

Science 2 Reflection

What was the essential question you chose to answer?

The essential question I chose to answer is “How do our body system work together. when we play our favorite sport. When you play sports, it’s like your body cells are a super organized team. Your brain cells boss around your muscle cells, telling them exactly when to sprint or jump. They all work together perfectly so you can actually move and play awesome. Research shows that when you swim, you use your muscular system and work as a whole to propel you through the water, with specific muscles engaged for propulsion, stability, and streamlining. The muscles work against water resistance, effectively providing a full-body, low-impact workout, according to Gemini. According to ActiveSG, you use your muscles to kick the water, propel, and pull the water. You use your arms to drag the water, and these works together to move you forward. Research show that when you swim, Certain types of single-celled organisms and human cells like white blood cells (leukocytes) use their cell membranes for swimming via a process called molecular paddling. This process involves the controlled movement and recycling of specialized proteins within the cell’s outer membrane. This supports my claim because the muscle system works together to make you move in the water, and they work together as a system to propel you and make you able to move forward. This matters for the claim, since your body works together in swimming, which helps you to propel the water and pull the water. This means that you need cells to swim. This can make your body move and it can control your movement. This makes the specialized protein with other membranes.

Which learning experience was the most impactful or memorable for you as a learner?

For me it is notes, because it can help me memorize better and I can practice with it more. This is because, it makes it easier to understand.

if I can improve one aspect, it would be making this model because I feel like I can make it better and I can upgrade it to another level.

DNA Art Drawing Reflection

Wilson is the name of my artwork. It’s a red and black DNA drawing that resembles Wilson’s madness. It’s for everyone, including kids and students. The message is Winston is “goated,” which means he’s goated. I twisted the DNA all messy with thick lines and blurry watercolor to make it feel powerful and entertaining to look at, and I made it cool by using red and black to make it good to look at.

Soccer P.E Reflection

What we learned in this unit is we learned how to dribble, pass and shoot. We used skills Ms. Eni taught us to use in our actual game. We also learned how to control the ball with power and stability.

What helped me is my cleats and my skills to dribble the ball.

Unit 2 Math Reflection

In this unit, we learned what is scaled factor and how to determine it, and scaled drawings. To find the scale factor, it is copy/original. For example one of the sides is 6 and the original side is 3, so it is 6/3=2 so the scale factor is 2. We also learned formulas for it.

Some of the strengths I have is I know how to find it and I can do it pretty quickly. I am also good at finding the scale factor and I think I know the formula.

Some weaknesses I have is graphing because I have trouble finding the x and y. I can overcome this by doing more IXL and practice more.
