In PE, I’ve had many opportunities to grow, both physically and mentally. One time I encountered a problem was when we were learning a new sport, and I struggled to understand the rules and techniques at first. I felt frustrated, but I decided to ask my teacher for help and practiced during free time. By breaking down the skills into smaller steps and staying persistent, I was able to overcome the challenge and improve. This taught me the importance of perseverance and not giving up, even when something feels difficult. On the other hand, there was a time when I worked really well in PE during a team activity. We were playing a game that required strong communication and teamwork, and I made sure to listen to my teammates, share ideas, and encourage everyone. Because of this, our team was able to succeed, and it reminded me how important it is to collaborate and support others. These experiences in PE have helped me become more confident, resilient, and a better team player.

This artifact shows a creative project that the everyone had to do. This artifact is for the skill “scientific notation.”
We had to do all the calculations in scientific notation. While also making it kid-friendly and simple in order for the kindergarteners to understand. This made me realize how much humans can impact the environment by cars alone. During this project, I learned how to calculate very large numbers, and very small numbers by using scientific notation.
Some difficulties I faced in this project was having to think of an idea that is creative, entertaining, and eye-catching. The calculations at the start got me stuck, but I quickly persevered and learned a lot.
I only knew how to write scientific notation, I didn’t really know how to calculate it or how to use it in a real world example. This project educated me very well, and I learned how to apply it in different situations despite the circumstances.
This project is meaningful to me because, I like working on projects where I get my freedom o decide what I make, and how early I can finish it. I like using my own mind to think of creative topics that i’m interested in, in order to educate me in a entertaining way.

Media plays a crucial role in teens mental health, from misinformation and fake posts, as well as the increased stigma influenced by social media. The media has many fake pages, some videos show the “ideal” body that people should have, those images might be photoshopped or edited. Due to the wide spread of “ideal” bodies, and videos strengthening stigma. It gives teens false beliefs that they should do whatever the media says is “good”, and a false impression of people with disabilities ETC. By Reducing the spread of posts, and movies strengthening stigma, as well as reducing the amount of screen time teens have on their phones. Can help reduce stigma by a lot. Lastly, mental health conditions deserve to be recognized by teens, teens should know the harms of not telling a trusted adult about mental health conditions they might be experiencing, especially with the increased depression rates since earlier years due to social media. Teens should also recognize that having a health condition does not mean a specific person is “bad” or “evil” so it is important teens recognize this.

After reading numerous sources, and interviewing a high schooler, I came to a conclusion that Cell phones can both positively and negatively impact the teens social-emotional health.
Cell phones can become addicting for individuals when they enter high school, some people might have more self-control over others. Based off my research the negative impact on teens is that it influences depression as showed in the Jonathan Haidt study.
Cell phones can be helpful in high-school, “it helps me stay connected with friends and provides some entertainment and relaxation” as mentioned in the interview with the high schooler he claimed that his cell phone helped him keep in touch with his friends overseas, and he claimed that his phone was a very good tool to use when he was bored, because of the lack of school playing facilities, he had to use his phone to stop his boredom.
All in all, there are positive and negative impacts to the teens social-emotional health, it depends on how people look at it and approach it. Some strategies I would use to decrease my phone does not impact the quality of my emotional health is, requesting more school facilities (eg. Basketballs/basketball courts), and also having a balanced schedule and having a clear understanding on what the benefits of cell-phones are and what the disadvantages are.

“Millennials were not significantly more depressed than previous generations, those born in 1996 and later are facing unprecedented challenges, including increased rates of depression and anxiety”- Jonathan Haidt
The particle motion of the milk decreased when the thermal energy was removed. The milk changed from liquid to solid the phase change is called Freezing. As the ice and milk were being mixed the particle motion of the milk decreased as the milk started becoming a solid. The particles were also moving closer together while the thermal energy was being removed.

The assignment was to analyze the graphs. It was to explain that McDonalds was a healthy choice. We had to analyze two graphs and explain that McDonalds compared to other fast-food restaurants is a good choice. I had to Explain the graph, make a claim, and statistical question. What I think I did well was explaining the graphs and analyzing it. I would improve on submitting other tasks part of the assessment on time.

The roller coaster assigment was a really collaborative task. I worked with my friends a put in ideas. We were really proud of our creation and also liked other people.
