This is my Science Module 2 research about synthetic and natural resources. I researched one object, which was synthetic basketball shoes. Now this showed me as a creative learner because it was a noble idea to create this analysis of the shoe. The poster was a very creative format to show the object.

This is a project that I did related to resource consumption and production. This shows me as an active learner because we had to create whole new synthetic materials from scratch, I had to be creative in what material I wanted to mix. In the end, I used coconut husk, banana fiber and bamboo fiber.

In our second unit, we discussed moral dilemmas, where someone meets a very hard decision between two values. I chose the 2 values of loyalty and responsibility. From that, I then read and analysed the 3 short stories the last leaf, the necklace, and the gift of the magi. These 3 stories supported parts of my thesis statement. I was really proud of this item because we don’t usually do these kind of analytical essay, and so trying something different was really interesting. This might be the essay that I had edited the longest for, proofreading as close as I could.

This is the floor hockey. In this unit, we learned about shooting, passing, attacking, and defense. There was a lot involved, communication with teammates so that we could have a better collaboration. I liked and chose this unit because I thought that it was the unit that I improved the most. Also during the unit, I was consistent with my PE uniform every single class.

Overhead Drop Shot

• A smart shot that sends the shuttlecock high, landing close to the net.
• Great for surprising your opponent and controlling the game’s pace.

Underarm Drop Shot

• Played from below, landing softly near the net.
• Useful when you’re in a tough spot during the game.

Practice Makes Perfect

To improve, we did hands-on drills in class!

Everyone progressed at their own pace through repeated practice.

We practiced hitting the shuttlecock gently with the right strength and control.

These drills helped us enhance our hand-eye coordination and timing.

This is a mid-unit quiz that I previously did. I thought that this was a great example of me already knowing all the knowledge and performing very well on this. From what I had already learned, I had already grasped all the skills pretty well. However, this also shows some room for improvement because the mistakes I made was actually questions that I already know, so it could be avoided.

This is my reading comprehension and answering some questions about the story. It shows my reading comprehension skills and I can actually read in Spanish. Not only that, I can also understand it and answer questions about it in spanish.

This is what I did for a biography about a Hispanic person. I chose to research and write about Manu Ginobili. He is very famous and a basketball player. It shows my ability I have to write biography with different verbs and using nouns.

This is a sticker design that we made in the unit of transformation and congruence. I made this creative little sticker about gold and fishes, with elements of our advisory. I am really proud of this because it showed one of the most detailed drawings and plannings

this is a project that I did in science. This was actually a graphic novel that was about extinctions and bones of dinosaurs that had gone extinct. We also had gotten questions to answer. I was really proud of this work because I thought that this project was actually pretty interesting. I’ve never had anything like reading a comic book and answering questions. I found answering questions really interesting because we have to answer the question two times. One time was just answering the questions after reading one time. The second time you could read it again and again for a few times. Then enhance my understanding of the novel which gave more detail for the questions. It showed my process throughout the work until that’s a work where I was really proud.
