Orchestra: Ensemble Performance

I have always like this unit as we could pick our partners and our own music. It felt different than most orchestra classes we had. My group picked the piece Merry Go Around of Life. My reflections to each practice session were also detailed and well-written. Everything was going well until disaster struck, we originally planned to have a recording as one of our group members was going to Australia for vacation. We all had our recording done and we were all just waiting on him to give us the recording. We waited all night and turns out, he didn’t record and he didn’t bring his instrument with him. In the end, we were unable to get his recording. So, now there were only going to be 3 people in the recording. Finally. the video was done editing. I thought everything was going to work out great, until the next day. The editor forgot to submit the video and left his laptop at Shanghai after leaving for Japan. With 2 people on the team, we had to explain every thing to the teacher, but still, she still blamed it for bad cooperation. Thankfully, she gave us an extension, and I’m pretty sure the teammate that went to Japan came back and submitted it. But to this day, I still don’t have my grades.

Language Arts: Reading and Writing Passport

My reading and writing passports have been going really well. All threes and one 3.5. I really enjoy the free writes in the writing passport because of the fact that you can write about anything. I usually like to write about my hobbies and interests. Like badminton, even though I already know a lot, it is fun to write about it and refresh my memory.

Language Arts: Unit 2 Analytical Essay

I had a lot of fun during this unit, especially with the AI. After identifying our moral dilemma, we used the AI to find stories at best relate to our dilemma. Afterwards, we analyzed the stories deeply using the techniques that we learned earlier in the unit. I also got lost of feedback.
