Amazing Eclipse model

Eclipse model made by blenderThis is the model of the blender 3d model. It shows how the eclipse happens by adding light features and moon covering the Earth. The dark shadow in middle of the Earth is a shadow created by the moon blocking the sunlight.

Standard – I can develop a model of the Earth – Sun – Moon system to describe seasons eclipses and moon phases

(Toy) Car race

This car race is a project that we build our own (toy) car with the cardboard and do a race with those cars. I still don’t know why we made this car. However, unlike the other races, the winner of this race is not someone who ran fast, but someone who has nearest 1 to 1 unit rate to their predicted time. The math we used here to get 1 to 1 unit rate is the “ratio”. We could learn about ratios and rates doing this unit. For our test, we used Meter per Second unit for testing. We compared our estimated MpS unit and the real test MpS unit to get a unit ratio.
If i can do this project again, I want to invite one more teammate so that I can increase the margin of error.

My box

We are designing our own cardboard box with the recycled cardboards.

We used the utility knife to cut the cardboard, cut it based on the template, and glue the parts to make a top and bottom parts of the box. We can be safe by putting the knife where it should be after using it. I learned how to work safe with the knife, how to cut the cardboard with the knife easily.

My super amazing board game design

Last class and before, I planned my board game design, and learned about the ethical choices, how to make 3d prints (etc). this is my board game design I made.

Our plan is to use the recycled materials to make the board game.

The project that I’m most proud of

The project that I’m most proud of is the “Endangered animal species project.” The main purpose of this project is to analyze the informations about the endangered animals and show those informations to others, by using the digital devices. Overall, there were three ways to inform those portfolios:

Poster,
Using CANVA to make a poster about endangered animals
Thinglink project,
For example
or Website
Make own website with a tool called WEEBLY

Because I wanted to use both thinglink and website tool, I decided to mainly use website, but also embed thinglink project on my website.

The animal that I chosen for the project was the Bluefin Tuna. I started researching, and making the website about them. This is the website that I made. https://savetituna.weebly.com/

I finally finished making the website successfully, and the result was successful!

It is my ABOUT ME slide

It is my About Me slide to show what I like and who I am. I chose the main color as Blue, Orange and Black. When making this slide I tried to apply the contrast, alinement, repetition and proximity. I hope you enjoy this post!

My amazing snowflake

this is my amazing snowflake from inkscape

I used the rectangle. polygon tools and gradient and meshes tools to make this snowflake.

Name: Snowflake

Age: 0

Birth: Dec. 6 / 2022

Happy birthday Snowflake!

Welcome to Your New Portfolio!

Why have a digital portfolio at SAS?

Creating a portfolio, or blog is a great way to collect all the work you’ve done throughout your academic career. You can include academic, athletic, and personal artifacts or experiences that you want to share with a wider audience. This is a great way to organize all your learning in one place and you can take it with you when you leave SAS.  When you make your portfolio, you create posts that are categorized according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you, but if you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category. Think of this as the first opportunity to engage and hook your reader!
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This should include a combination of text and media in the form of images, graphics, and embedded videos. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging and organized? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
  • Tags – create tags that can be used as keywords to describe your post. Tags help organize your post a little more! Aim to have 3-5 tags for each post. For example, if you are posting about a novel you wrote, you might want the following tags: #Fiction, #MurderMystery, #Theme, #PlotDiagram
