Collaboration
Even though I didn’t do a specific collaboration task, I worked well with my classmates on projects like the survival game and the Buzzfeed quiz. In these projects, I had to communicate with my teammates, share ideas, and solve problems together.
One time, I did not agree with a teammate while doing the survival game task. We had different ideas and viewpoints on which items were most important for survival. To take care of the disagreements that we had, I had to effectively use my listening skills to hear out what my teammates had to say. I made sure to understand their points of view instead of just making my ideas heard. Which helped us have a good discussion.
This experience showed me that the best collaboration is not just about talking; it’s also about hearing what others have to say. In the future when doing group projects, I hope to continue doing this.
Althought I didn’t do a specific collaboration task, the skills I learned from my other projects still helped me see how important teamwork is. Collaboration is about building on each other’s ideas and supporting one another.
Creativity
Creating the card game “Elemental Warfare” was a fun experience for me. I was excited with the idea of using different element cards like fire, water, earth, and air to play a game similar to rock, paper, scissors. Each card has its strengths and weaknesses, which adds a fun twist to the gameplay. Seeing the game actually in play and working felt very rewarding and nice.
I’m very proud of how the game turned out. The interactions between the elements make it both engaging and strategic. Players have to think through their moves to make sure they can win. There were times when I found myself being a bit critical or judgmental about my work and how I could make it better. There were also challenges in making sure that the cards were balanced and fair since there were 4 cards which always made one car be able to beat two other cards but the other cards can only beat one other car.
Being self-critical pushes me to improve the work I have done. I have learned how being critical of my work can allow me to improve the work I do, which I want to incorporate more in my school work. I also have to remain open to ways to make my ideas better. Moving forward, I plan to use this to take more creative risks and make cooler stuff. Overall, this one task and the many others have shown me that creativity is not just making something interesting and cool; it’s also about taking feedback and improving on your work.
Critical Thinking
During the survival game task, as a group, we had to order 30 items from least important to most important. Our task as a group was to rank them based on their importance. Doing this required us to discuss and debate about what mattered most. At times, we disagreed, which pushed us to delve deeper into our choices.
To make sure I was considering all the different perspectives, I used a few strategies. First, I made sure to listen closely to my teammates’ opinions and what they had to say. Each person always had unique viewpoints and ideas of what they think is most important. For example, someone said that we should choose 10 gallons of water, but after more consideration and looking at the list, we found out that there is a device that lets us filter salt water to clean drinking water.
Another strategy I used was to ask myself questions about our choices. I would think about questions like, “What if we had no salt water around us to filter?” Asking these questions helped me think outside the box instead of just relying on my thoughts and what I think.
Overall, this project made me realize that critical thinking is not just about analyzing facts; it’s also about engaging with others to gather different veiws about the topic. By being open to different ideas and asking good questions, I can make my decision-making skills better. These strategies not only helped me with this task, but they could also help me with my schoolwork.
Communication
For the communication task, I created a Buzzfeed quiz about Harry Potter which would allow people to find out which house they would be in. Collaborating with my partner was a large part of this project, as we needed to discuss how the quiz would function and determine which answers would lead to specific results. There were moments when we disagreed on certain questions or the overall structure of the quiz, making good communication important.
One time, my partner proposed a different approach to one of the questions. At first, I wasn’t sure about it, but after I listened to him and his reasoning carfully. By understanding his idea and veiw instead of just going with my own ideas, I realized that his idea was acutally way better and made the quiz more engaging, enjoyable and somewhat accurate. It became clear that combining our ideas in some way would give us a better final idea.
My listening skills played an Important role in our discussions. Because I valued my partner’s input, we were able to collaborate more effectively. This teamwork resulted in a quiz that was far more interesting than what it originally would have been.
Resilience
For my resilience task, I decided to learn how to juggle three balls in just one week. At first, it was very challenging, and I faced a lot of challenges. I usually dropped the balls multiple times. There were times when I thought about giving up, but I kept reminding myself to stay consistent and keep trying.
The biggest lesson I learned about resilience is that consistency always pays off. Each time I failed, I took some time to think about what went wrong and looked at the youtube tutorial multiple times to change me technique to copy the videos. Instead of feeling bad every time I failed, Itried to celebrate smaller wins, like managing to keep the balls in the air for just a few seconds. By the end of the week, I was exited, surprised and really happy that I could actually juggle. This experience taught me that being consistent is the best, even when you don’t want to do something, it can lead to rewarding results.
Moving forward, I plan to get past future challenges with this lesson in mind. I hope to approach new skills or tasks with a mindset focused on being consistent. If I encounter setbacks, I will remind myself that failure is just a part of learning process
After watching Veritasium’s video on how clickbait is so useful and how he also used clickbait to get more veiws on his channle I decided to try to use click bait myself.

The original heading of this event was: This is why the Chinese government has forbidden the ascent of Mount Everest in January 2025
The Heading I changed it to was: Massive earthquake erupts at Mount Everest, Over a 100 people die
After this task I feel like I learned more about clickbait and how to efficiently use it. I also had alot of fun doing this task

I got to work with people I don’t really know. I got to collaborate with them which was fun and enjoyable. We also had a similar taste in t-shirts.
On my walk i saw fish, birds and flowers.
I heard the wind going past my ears, I heard birds chirping and I also heard my own footsteps.
I felt the wind touch my face, Some leaves also fell on my head and some water droplets.

Before I use AI to help me with a task, I want to think about whether it’s the right thing to do and if it could affect other people. This is important for my safety and other peoples safety. I will put a reminder on my computer to remind me of my goal

Our group got skit number two which was about a group of friends trying to find a credible source to do their project.
A EUA element I saw was being a critical thinker because they had to think about what source they group needs. It is important to remember this while doing a project to keep academic integrity.
